So we are getting close to the main event, we had two Superior Spider-Man issues (really good, I miss Otto! And this latest issue gave us an explanation on the enemy), two Edge of Spider-Verse issues (glad we are seeing Spider-Gwen in Amazing and Spider-Verse Team up!) and the next issue of Amazing Spider-Man will begin the "prelude" phase.
So what are you waiting to see? What books are exciting you?!
This is the checklist so far btw:
Edge of Spider-Verse
August: Superior Spider-Man #32
September: Edge of Spider-Verse #1 Superior Spider-Man #33 Edge of Spider-Verse #2 Edge of Spider-Verse #3
October: Amazing Spider-Man #7 Edge of Spider-Verse #4 Amazing Spider-Man #8 Edge of Spider-Verse #5

I'll be sticking strictly to Amazing Spider-man and Spider-verse #1 and #2 for this event.
He who is certain he knows the ending of things when he is only beginning them is either extremely wise or extremely foolish; no matter which is true, he is certainly an unhappy man, for he has put a knife in the heart of wonder.

Haven't been reading any of the Edge Of stuff, though still getting Superior and Amazing as usual.
I'll be getting everything else once it starts, but I'm not sure about 2099 cause I don't buy it normally anyway. I might flip through it on the stands and see how relevant it feels. Pretty excited for it though!
Btw, is that checklist you put up from the solicits? It looks a little different from the early look at the checklist on BC
Pulls: Miles Morales The Ultimate Spider-Man, All-New Ultimates, Thor: God of Thunder, Magneto, All-New Invaders, All-New Ghost Rider, New Avengers, Avengers, Moon Knight Hawkeye, All-New X-Men, Uncanny X-Men, Loki Agent of Asgard, Amazing Spider-Man, The Wicked + The Divine, Rat Queens, Trees, Black Science, Southern Bastards
IMPORTANT PIECE OF NEWS THAT WILL BE ANNOUNCED TODAY!!!....so on Thursday at NYCC, Robbie Rodriguez told me that Spider-Gwen is getting an ongoing in February set in her own Universe! It will be announced today at the Spider-Verse panel but until now I haven't been able to be online due to the insanity known as NYCC.
Honestly for me the whole appeal of Spider-Verse is the multiple versions of Spider-Man/People we are seeing and for them to team up is really awesome....
Anyways, more NYCC Spider related news!
Spider-Gwen confirmed for February release by Jason Latour and Robbie Rodriguez. Silk is getting her own ongoing as well in February by Robbie Thompson and Stacey Lee. It was shown that in the second issue of Spider-Verse Team Up Miles and the Ultimate Cartoon Spider-Man are teaming up to save 1960's Cartoon Spider-Man; Anya, Gwen, Kaine, MayDay among others mentioned will have a big role in Spider-Verse proper (they seem to be part of Peter's team while Noir and Assassin seem to be the big players in Superior's team).
And the cosplay at NYCC was also huge, by my count I saw 6 (one of them a friend that was smiling when I saw the face I did when I saw her) Spider-Gwens and at least 4 Superior (latest suit) Spider-Men.

Have not read a single issue of the Spider-Verse event, but i have to say that hearing so many good things about it has definitely gotten me interested, because it really seems to be up my alley. My original plan was to wait till it gets added to Unlimited, but now i don't think i can.

So i read the Edge of Spider-Verse issue with Spider-Gwen, and i really liked it.
Loved her costume, art was great, and i liked how quick you learned what was going on in her world(how she got her powers, what happened to the Peter of her world, and what's her current status). And now that i read this issue i'm really excited for the ongoing, i can absolutely see it working, and i will definitely pick it up.
