Happy 150th episode, guys! I just wanted to say thank you for loving comics so much and for sharing that love with all of us here on the forum and on the interwebs. Your passion for comics helped me really embrace my own love for the medium and that in turn, helped me accept that this is what I want to do. Now, I have my own crew of fellow comics people I meet up with at my local comic book store/cafe every Wednesday and I'm writing reviews for that LCS' website. Hopefully this will lead to more comics/geek related stuff in the future and it's all thanks to you guys here at Talking Comics. Also, thanks again for letting me back on the podcast! ;P Nikki, It warms my heart reading that story, it truly does! Keep up the great work...and I'm sure some of it will include another podcast guest spot!

Congrats, guys and gals, on the milestone! Another excellent ep; par for the course. Courtney slayed. Well done, all around. You guys brought up the Kelly Sue/Emma Rios episode as a highlight of your run, to-date, and I couldn't agree more. I caught onto that episode in my early days of scouting out comic-related podcasts, and that's the one that made me sit up and take notice of you guys, for which I remain grateful, as i've been hooked on the show ever since. Good times. When Mara was talking about how she got into manga, I couldn't help but recall my own intro to it, Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad (I absolutely devoured the manga after being turned onto it by the show), which I love dearly to this day. Ah, sweet memories. Your first is always special, isn't it. Tony, Thanks for the good thoughts! The Kelly Sue /Emma Rios interview was one of my favorites as well, probably #2, although Ms DeConnick's first appearance with us as her Captain Marvel was about to debut was pretty special as well!

Great 150th episode been listening for a few years but only just joined the website, what a great episode - loved listening to those enthused guest'podsters especially the manga section, it's what makes you great and unique everyone involved has a very clear and passionate voice and the group is stronger through the diversity and conflicting view-points.
I'd also like to agree with comments made about podcasting and your approach - it's why you are my No.1, I know I will get to hear from you weekly come what may, maybe not always everyone but TC is always represented weekly and it makes my commute and work travel something I actually look forward to catching up with you fine but woof-bark-donkey-compadres! Keep at it all

Keep at it all Simon, Thanks a lot! I tend to agree with you in that our strongest suit is in the range of opinions (and from what books and genres those opinions are derived from) that we bring to the show. It would make an interesting Venn Diagram to see where we actually all overlap; I'm betting it would be a pretty small area, with probably Ms. Marvel, I Kill Giants, Rocket Girl, and Adventures of Superhero Girl as the only books we all love with the same fervor!
