Suarez did it again. He also bit someone when he was playing for Ajax and also for Liverpool. Guess the guy was hungry or something like that

We've had a head but and a bite, for all we know the next one could a thrown shoe!
For group G Germany and USA are basically guaranteed to make to the next round. In group E France are through because they have a unbeatable goal difference even if Ecuador and Switzerland win their games. In group F Argentina are through and Nigeria and Iran are completing for 2nd spot and in group H Belgium are through with any of the other team being able to get through.

It seems that Fifa is actually doing something and checking on the Suarez's bite. He could be banned from playing either 2 games or up to 20 months....

FIFA need to come down hard on Suarez. It's the third time he's bitten an opposition player on the pitch and it's long overdue that he gets massive ban and fine for it. Let's not forget that he's also had a lengthy ban for racially abusing Patrice Evra of Man Utd.
Let's face it, if he did that to somebody on the street, he would be charged with assault. He's an amazing player, but the guy is an animal and does more harm to the game than good. For me, it's about time he got banned for a season from all football.

Yeah, he needs to be banned.
So Argentina and Nigeria moved onto the second round (despite the last one loosing), Switzerland passed with a nice score and France moved as well after a great game against Ecuador.

Suarez has been suspended for four months. That isn't much of a punishment if you ask me, i would've given him much more than that.

Considering this is his 3rd time doing that, I agree that it should be longer.
And the USA passes to the second round thanks to goal and point differences despite loosing to Germany.
The second round should be VERY interesting and I see Costa Rica moving even further!

Brazil through to the next round on penalty kicks over Chile!
Chile hit the crossbar in the waning minutes of regulation, and on the final penalty kick!
(I do have a beef with this system. It's as if you decided an NBA play-off game that was tied after a five-minute overtime by having a slam-dunk contest! It seems a rather random way to be eliminated from the tournament!))

Well, the chances for such thing are not that common and this is just for elimination purposes......but anyways, that game was SO EXCITING! I was yelling at my TV the whole time and both of them played really well, I think Chile should won considering how they were dominating most of the game.
And as I type this Colombia is winning over Uruguay.....they way it looks (and Uruguay has no Suarez), this might be it for Uruguay. We will see...the first half is not even over yet.

I really disagree for several reasons. 1. NBA isn't an international sport where several countries are flown out to another country to live for a month. 2. The amount of points scored in each game and difficulty to score vary drastically between the two sports. Therefore resulting in a tie much more often in soccer. 3. NBA is not an immediate tournament style where games are played basically every day. But I also love a good game that ends in penalty kicks! So I'm quite biased.
