I love Damian, he is sooooo different from the other Robins to the point that he works well with any Batman (Bruce or Dick...although it was better with Dick as Batman).

Dick because even though that he isn't robin anymore still has to stop batman from going to far. whether it be after the death of Jason or Damian or after a conflict like the one we saw in the court of the owls. Also he is the joker (no pun intended) of the robins.

For me, pre New-52 Tim Drake was the best. At the time, he wasn't orphaned, he didn't have a tragic backstory, and he joined the business because he honestly believed that Batman needed a Robin. He was a capable leader in his own right on Young Justice and Teen Titans. I also loved the paralleling dynamic he had with Superboy (boy do I miss pre New-52 Superboy).

I wish they hadn't killed off Damian, because I'm not looking forward to Blue Bird, even if I'm a Snyder fanboy.
1. Damian: He is the badass with a heart of gold
2. Dick: The most overall lovable Robin
3. Tim: He would be second (I think) if they got him on a solo with a good writer
4. Jason: After he died he became much more interesting

Tim Drake is the best (old continuity anyway). He tries harder than the others, largely because he's less of a natural athlete than Jason/Dick/Damien. He's also brilliantly intelligent and was able to deduce the identity of Batman and Robin. He always seemed to act as a stronger voice of reason to Bruce, not to mention the fact that he believed in Bruce when he was gone during Morisson's run.

I haven't read too much of Drake, but the new 52 drake is a bit of a disappointment and since that's the majority of my knowledge of the character I had to place him at third. I hope the new teen titans gets him right. |
