I loved Damian. Brilliant foil to/reflection of the rest of the bat family. I don't know if i really need to see a "Damian is a crazed maniac now that he's been resurrected in the pit" story, but that being said, if they could find a way to bring him back i'd welcome it.
Also a long-time big Dick Grayson fan. I certainly wouldn't be opposed to him taking up the mantle again for a bit, though of course that's not going to happen.
Not thrilled with Bluebird/Harper. Doesn't quite sit right with me for whatever reason. Do not want.
Can't stand Jason Todd.
Tim is . . meh.
If the Carrie Kelly in this universe seemed at all likely (or athletic, or in any other way similar to Dark Knight Returns Carrie Kelly), then i'd be down to see her take a proper turn; that'd be cool, though that doesn't look at all likely.

Dick Grayson is the quintessential Robin. Damian is a more interesting and exciting character, but he would not have been as compelling or entertaining had there not been Dick Grayson's Robin before him.

The way the announcement was made is that they said "a Robin will return". Which is very vague, could be any one of them, but odds are it'll be Damian in my opinion. It'll be great to have a Robin back, regardless of who it is, purely for the dynamic he lends to the books.

Me to but I don't want Jason or Dick returning I think there a little bit to old to be Robin. I can only Tim or Damian returning

Damian is also my boy but he was also my first Robin when I got into comic. I got so OUTRAGES when morrison killed him off

A Robin will return, but with the way the announcement was worded they may go for someone entirely new. If they are going to draw from the existing pool, then my money is on Damian. He's too interesting a character to have languishing in comic book limbo-land for long. I'm just surprised they'd have him return so soon. I thought they would milk the Batman-broody-angst for a while longer.

He punched Roy Harper in the face Batman a trained fighter punched a teenage girl in the face really. I think there are so much more story's to tell about Damian I hadn't even my dream Team up between him and Red Hood (I don't count the Grant morrison stuff Batman INC)

I'm pretty sure it'll be Damian. I hope they get more creative than just having him go into a Lazarus Pit, though. At the end of Batman Inc, we saw all those incubating clones. Maybe something will come of that?

Maybe something will come of that? Weren't they adult versions of Damian? That would change the dynamic between him and Batman. Also, a clone wouldn't necessarily have Damian's memories or personality. I think you're right, though. They could still do something better with that than raging-insane-lazarus-pit-zombie-Damian.

My memory is that they were babies. I don't have it with me, and I can't find it on the internet to confirm. It doesn't really matter, though. I just hope they figure something out besides the Lazarus pit. If they go with a clone, they could have some kind of justification that his memories are intact. Maybe someone backed his brain up to a hard drive, or Frankenstien can save it or something?
