Art in comics is so subjective. What one person loves can turn another off a book. I love that. Its what keeps all books from looking the same. For instance i LOVE humberto Ramos and Chris Bachalo but I'm not a fan of John Romita Jr's art. I know other people love his style and arent fans of the two i mentioned.
Who are some of your guys favorites?

I'm absolutely loving Francesco Francavilla he posts some of the most awesome art over on his twitter. Fiona Staples is a close second, the art on Saga is never lacking and always amazing.

Matteo Scalera is my definite favorite right now.
Other than him; Rob Guillory, Sean Murphy, and Ben Templesmith or some of my other favorites.
Gabriel Ba is also amazing. I wish I had more of his stuff.

Francesco Francavilla, Agnes Garbowska, David Marquez, Amanda Conner, Stuart Immonen, Ed McGuinness and Mitch Gerards. Those are people who's comics I'd buy for their art alone

His art is just awesome in general. I mean look at his Black Beetle or Afterlife With Archie stuff. It's some of the most beautiful art I've seen in a long time

ive been debating black beetle. can someone sell me on it? If you love classic Pulp stories or comics with a heavy sense of noir, pacing and setting than Black Beetle is the comic for you. I can't say much else without SAYING anything but it's definitely a book you feel, as well as read.

Bachalo and Ramos are among some of my favorites too, since Ramos's days on Impulse and Bachalo's time on the Death mini series I've watched both artist develop amazing unique styles. Some of my other favorites would have to be Sean Philips, Mike Mignola, Frank Quietly and so on. The most recent addition to my favorite artists is Gabriel Rodriguez of Locke & Key fame. Again seeing his progression as a story teller has been fantastic. I also rate a lot of the Vertigo artists like Mark Buckingham, Peter Gross and Charles Vess to name but a few. (An I'm a sucker for an Alex Ross cover.) +1 for The Black Beetle, Francavilla is in his element on that book.

Jae Lee is one of my favorites. I first encountered him in The Dark Tower series (one of the titles that got me into comic books) and was blown away. I really like seeing him let loose on otherworldly landscapes like in Ozymandias.
I find that I only sometimes enjoy Francavilla. He was great on Hawkeye, but the art took me out of the story in Guardians of the Galaxy. He's got such a specific style, it's amazing when it works but jarring when it doesn't fit the tone. I probably need to add Black Beetle to my list of things to check out.

One person whose art I always absolutely love is Leinel Yu, his work on Avengers especially is beautiful. Capullo I've been a fan of since his days on Spawn and although he doesn't do much these days, Todd McFarlane's art was some of the first I really sat and took in fully (due to my age when I was reading comics he drew for). There's many others I could mention, but I'll go on all night and it's past my bedtime.

There are quite a few artists that I am into. Bagley, Buscema, Neal Adams, Marcos Martin, Tim Sale, Aja, Staples, Quietly, Philips, Francavilla....honestly there are way too many that I love. Bagley is probably the one who will stick out the most. He was drawing Amazing Spider-Man when I was in my teens and Spidey is my guy. Also that is when Thunderbolts started...he did a good 40-50 issues of that. Then Ultimate Spider-Man hit and it pretty much sealed the deal for me. Can't wait for his Hulk stuff.

I am absolutely in love with Andrea Sorrentino's art ever since reading I, Vampire. It's just amazing and gothic, the way he draws guest characters like Batman or Stormwatch when they turn up is great, and the fact that he manages to draw Mary seemingly naked very issue without ever oversexualising her was great. I loved Alred's work on I,Zombie. Bagley's art on Ultimate Spider-Man was great, same with the rest of the USM artists, Pichelli, Immonen etc. Ivan Reis is just amazing. And I have to say I love J. Scott Campbell's art even though it is cheesecakey.

I love Kevin maguires art in guardians. To me it's the perfect comic book art style. I do like some other more stylised stuff but I could have him draw everything and be happy. Angela and Gamora looked amazing in the last issue.
