Anybody who plays video games can tell you that if a certain company/developers name is listed on the box, chances are we're more inclined to get it over something else. Whether it's out of nostalgia, a great track record of releases or something else only you can describe, we all have them. So what are some of your favorites? Least favorites? Let me know what you think.
My list of Favorite Companies/Developers:
Atlus Quantic Dream Namco Tales Studio Square Enix (even despite some bad releases) Monolith Productions Ubisoft Nintendo

Uhh lets see...
Atlus(over the last couple of years they made a lot of great JRPG's like the Persona and Etrian Odyssey series) Square Enix(mostly because of their old games, the old FF's, Chrono Trigger etc.) Naughty Dog(Jak and Daxter, Uncharted, the Last of Us) Nintendo(they made a lot of my childhood with classics like the old Mario and Zelda games, and still make great games right now) Rocksteady(Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, can't wait to see what their next game will be) Rockstar(GTA of course, but also some other great ones like Red Dead Redemption and Bully)
I'm sure there's more, but these are the only ones i could come up with right now.

Naughty dog is my number one by a mile.

Rocksteady/rockstar Are really good. Behemoth is fantastic ( battleblock and castle crashers) So is house marque ( resogun/ dead nation)

Naughty a Dog are currently my favourite, they've pushed story telling within video games forward a hell of a lot. Apart from them, Rocksteady and Rockstar put out some great stuff and you can't ignore Square Enix and Nintendo's contribution to the industry.
I'm also a big fan of, the now extinct, Bitmap Brothers. Games like Speedball 2, Gods and Xenon II were favourites of mine when I was a kid.
