Yes, exactly - Marvel has lots of great stuff happening, but it's hard to find out about it unless you're actively looking or happen to be in circles where people are talking about it.
I think a promotional comic book is worth a try. The ticket-taker already has to give people going to most of these movies 3D glasses, it wouldn't be hard for them to give a comic book away too during the first weekend of the movie, and it might make people think the astronomical price of the 3D showing is actually worth the cost, since unlike the 3D glasses you'd actually get to take the comic book with you when you leave!

I remember being ten years old and receiving a copy of that month's Detective Comics when seeing the Adam West "Batman" in theatres in 1966, and how special I felt! It's a plain and simple fact that people like getting stuff for free, and as you say, with the price of movie tickets these days, it certainly enhances value!

Great show guys. I may be risking the flaming torches and pitchforks here, but i actually have a soft spot for Matthew Broderick's Godzilla. Hank Azaria and Jean Reno in the one movie, whats not to like? The fact I also like Stallone's Dredd may signal something of a pattern here.

PB, Don't worry, the first step towards recovery is admitting that you have a problem! Do yourself and your family a favor, watch the original Gojira, and then check out Godzilla, Mothra, King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All- out Attack, and you'll be right as rain in no time! Then there's this from Godzilla: Final Wars, the last film (to-date, anyway) in Toho's "Millenium Series":
