First off, so angry about the splitting of special features Marvel has done for this one. I'd already bought the Loki sleeve edition from Target and now find out there's a Loki featurette with Hiddleston behind the scenes at SDCC that's a Walmart exclusive. Grrrrr.
Anyway, I listened to the commentary on the DVD last night and one interesting thing I picked up was Kevin Feige mentioning the first appearance of Hel during the convergence, and leaving it open that we could revisit that world in the future. I was also amazed by the number of scenes where actors were actually in completely different locations from one another!

I haven't had a chance to watch it yet - I didn't get home until later last night and by the time I finished the commentary I was ready for bed. I'll let you know once I see it tonight!

Had no idea there were two different ones out, is the Loki sleeve exclusive to target?

Yep, the Loki sleeve is Target-only. You also get a free month of membership to Marvel Unlimited with the Target DVD. Walmart has a code to download the Loki featurette through Vudu, and apparently Amazon has yet another exclusive feature, but as it's not Loki/Hiddleston-related I'm slightly less fussed about that one.
There was great consternation in the Hiddles fangirl community yesterday regarding the DVDs, ha ha!

How is the "All Hail The King" Marvel mini movie? It was... interesting. No real spoilers, but obviously Marvel is trying to make it up to the members of the fan community who didn't like the portrayal of the Mandarin in Iron Man 3. And that's all I'm going to say about it for now. Will be interested to hear what others think...

Yeah, it was tough deciding where exactly I wanted to buy my copy of Thor 2. Part of me really wanted that Loki featurette but that Target sleeve sold me; plus I was already there.
As for Hail to the King, I enjoyed it. Not as good as some of the other One-Shots but I enjoyed it nevertheless

I went to Best Buy because they were supposed to have the steel book exclusive and I get those every chance I can since its what I prefer to have on the shelf. Sadly all they had was the regular blue ray... Me being lazy I just bought that instead of driving somewhere else haha.
Will watch the short film tonight.

Just saw the movie today for the first time, a friend of mine had it on his IPad. And i was kind of suprised by how much i liked it, thought the first one was okay, but i liked the story and the effects a lot more in this one.

Just saw the movie today for the first time, a friend of mine had it on his IPad. And i was kind of suprised by how much i liked it, thought the first one was okay, but i liked the story and the effects a lot more in this one. [SPOILERS FOR THE MOVIE IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT] I think I tweeted when I saw this for the first time in the theater that "I love everything this movie chooses to be." I really liked getting more of Asgard, more of Heimdall, more of Frigga, more of Darcy, and even though she was out of commission for the middle part of the movie, having Jane be an essential part of the ending fight against Malekith, since in the first Thor she was more of a bystander. I thought Frigga's funeral was just gorgeous, and am now putting a demand for a Viking funeral in my will. I know it's probably illegal, but what do I care, I'll be dead. And of course I loved loved loved loved LOVED Loki. The first time I saw his "death" my friends tell me my face was classic. I wanted to pause the movie at that point, maybe engage everyone in a discussion about what had just happened and how we all felt, perhaps have a group hug...and then he came back, which I was sort of suspecting from the earlier Odin scene where he was informed about Loki's death, and I am not ashamed to admit I clapped with joy. My only complaint about the movie might be that I felt Christopher Eccleston was a little wasted as Malekith. He did well with what he had to work with, but I wasn't as engaged when the movie went to his scenes. I know there was some Dark Elves stuff that was cut from the final movie, which might have made him more interesting. Overall, though, I loved it.

Hey Courtney - as the resident Tom Hiddleston fan here, I thought you might be interested to know he is going to be in my town in the next couple of days. They are filming part of the new Guillermo del Toro movie here and have been transforming our Market Square (back) into a 19th century market. It looks pretty cool. (The film is "Crimson Peak" www.imdb.com/title/tt2554274/). No sightings of him (by me anyway) yet, but if I happen to cross paths with him I'll let you know! There was a big call for extras and I planned on signing up but I am just a bit too tall. It is a period piece so you had to fit within a certain range of measurements for the costumes to qualify. So, my hopes of starring in a major motion picture alongside Loki were dashed.
