Superman Unchained is only a 9 or 10 issue series, I hear, so it'll be a stand-alone arch.
I'm enjoying it this end. I don't read a lot of Superman but I enjoy Snyder's work. I can see how it seems to be dragging it's heels but for me the Wraith/Superman relationship is interesting and Jim Lee's pages are enjoyably distracting during a lull in momentum.

Hmm...I've heard conflicting reports on this whole "Ongoing vs stand alone" thing. Some are saying it is, Lee says it isn't. We'll just have to wait and find out at the end I guess. I haven't read it so I have no room to talk but I am glad there are people enjoying it. Snyder can't write a really crappy book after all, can he?

Snyder has trouble writing crappy books. Just not in his nature.
Maybe the ongoing rumours are testing the waters but I can't see DC keeping Snyder and Lee together for the long-run on a single book. Lose those guys and it becomes just another Superman title.

The only weekly DC I read before the new 52 was batman. I read GL in trades. But only really started that right before the end. After the N52, I tried to dig in. So I'm pulling batman/ detective , Green lantern, Wonder Woman and the justice league. I have all the trades of aqua man but haven't started yet. I've tried a few other series but can't get pulled in.

Lose those guys and it becomes just another Superman title. I think it probably IS testing the waters since Eternal and other projects are probably going to keep these two busy in a non-Superman related way.

Aquaman really is a fantastic series that's easy to dive into but I got lost around the crossover.

It was the new 52 that properly got me into comics, so I've enjoyed it. For me Wonder Woman has been outstanding every single issues. Azzarello has done an awesome job. Needless to say Synders Batman has been good and continues to be. I was reading Batwoman up until J.H. Williams and Hayden-Blackman left the book. The artwork was gorgeous. I loved the hell out of Demon Knights, was gutted when that finished. Vandal Savage was written awesomely in that book. The Movement is great, more people should definitely read it. I've also enjoyed the Phantom Stranger and Pandora titles, although I'm not to sure about this whole Blight storyline at the moment. I'm liking where the main Forever Evil storyline is going, and some of the mini series have been surprisingly decent - I've enjoyed the Rogues Rebellion, and Arkham War has had it's moments. Bane in a Batsuit was amazing. The issues of Aquaman i've read have been pretty good. It's something I keep meaning to pick up in trade.

New 52 brought me back into comics as well when I picked up Batman 12 (that first Harper Row story). I really enjoyed Green Lantern as well but after the third crossover in a row, I had to quit reading it. It really did seem important to read all four Lantern books to get the full story and I just don't have room for four Lantern books on my pull list.
I've dropped a ton of books and now I'm down to two new 52 titles, Batman and Action comics. :/
I opted out of Forever Evil after being swerved with the Trinity crossover. Sort of wish I had picked it up because apparently it's pretty good.

I was originally was only picking up Batman as it was all I could find locally. I am not one to read much digitally. When Marvel started the marvel now I got back into comics again in a big way. This led me to try more new 52 and slowly my pulllist went from almost all marvel to now pretty much all DC. I seem to like more of there titles right now and I can only have so much on my pull list.
Right now I am really loving the DC books I am getting. On my pulllist I have Batman Green Lantern Green Arrow Superman Unchained Justice League Justice League America Superman Batman Superman Wonder Women Forever Evil and the 3 tie in minis.
I am considering picking up detective at giving it a try with the new creative team coming over from Flash and have been meaning to give Flash a try as well but I want to see who the full time creative team is first.
I agree that Batman Superman has been pretty weak of late. I like Brett Booths art but the story and been pretty bad. I'll give it another arc as I just love both those characters to much to bail just yet.
I started Green Lantern when Vendetti started as I was to intimidate by the Johns run to jump on mid way. It been great. Good jumping on point and some huge developments in Lights out.

I started my DC comics experience with the New 52. I've read a few books prior like gong through Grant Morrison's Batman run, All Star Superman and similar shorter runs or minis but most of the DC stuff I know is from this new era. I try to learn about things that came before so I have a base knowledge of certain characters as they come up in books but I think I am learning all I need to know from each writer and artist.
Blown away by the Francis Manapul and Brian Buccellato first volume of Flash, shame they've left but still got plenty of issues to read plus they are heading to Detective Comics which I'll definitely be picking up. Wonder Woman is amazing as is of course Batman and enjoy the new Batwing since Justin Gray and Jimmy Palmiotti took over.
I've been behind on most books (just now started Zero Year) so not taken part in any events or crossovers but Fiver Years Later sounds like a good concept if it is done by some good talent.

New 52 is kinda what got me back into comics, I started out reading quite a bit but now my list is down to just Batman, Green Lantern and Bat Girl. I've always really been a Marvel guy though so that could be why none of these other books really grabbed me.

I do wish I'd read more DC but a lot of it just isn't doing it for me right now. I'm down to 4 now. I probably won't ever drop those 4 but still, I started off picking up 40 of the New 52.
