We are now two years into DC's New 52 initiative. We've seen books come and go, new characters and old characters get introduced and an event that seems to be shaking up the status quo of the New 52 in the form of Forever Evil. But what are your thoughts on the New 52 in general? I'm really interested to hear some thoughts. i.e: Favorite/Least Favorite books, memories, characters, scenes, things you want to see in the company ect.

My favourite book at the beginning of New 52 was definitely between Batman Inc purely because I love Morrison and Batman and Robin because it was a fun look at Bruce and Damian's relationship. Nothing can beat that dialogue-less issue. Right now though my favourite new 52 series is Earth 2, it definitely isn't the strongest but I find myself enjoying it more and more with every issue. I have yet to read Aquaman but all I hear is good things, and I'm interested in reading the Flash but I just have too much on my list right now.

I mentioned in another board that the complete series is definitely in my top series of all time. Plus it just showed how/why I love Grant Morrison so much. Earth 2 has definitely improved with time. Tom Taylor is a great author and he seems to be doing a great job with it so far.

Tom Taylor is actually from where I grew up so it's great to see an Australian getting a lot of work from one of the big two.

He's also a stand-up guy with a lot of talent who deserves the praise he's getting. I'm really stoked to see him continue to shine. Besides those books I still read: World's Finest Green Arrow Supergirl Red Lanterns Batman Harley Quinn Batgirl Red Hood and the Outlaws Definitely some solid titles in the New 52. Sadly can't read all of them though.

I just dropped Batman/Superman because it just wasn't doing anything for me.

I may have to trim mine down a little bit once All-New Marvel NOW comes around but most of the series I still read in the New 52 are all series I've stuck around with for the long haul. Usually it seems the book is cancelled by the time I even think about dropping it (Voodoo/Grifter/Hawk & Dove, Static Shock, OMAC).
How is Unchained for you? I'm interested to hear your thoughts.

I dropped Batman-Superman too , inhuman, after #6 as without the Jae Lee art, the new storyline wasn't as interesting. It just became another book. I've just started on the first trade of Earth 2 as well.
I came back to comics for the New 52's Swamp Thing and stayed for the other quality books. The first things I read were Swamp Thing, Batman, Batgirl, and Red Lanterns, so I assumed every New 52 title was as good. Obviously there has been some variation in quality since then.
Current weekly reading: Swamp Thing Batman Batgirl Constantine (praying that it gets better) Red Lanterns Green Lantern Animal Man The Movement (really great book that seemingly nobody is buying) Superman Unchained
I was reading Dial H and Frankenstein too. Sad face.

I wish Frankenstein would have gotten a better shake. It was such a unique and fantastic book. Really hope it comes back in some capacity someday. I agree with you on The Movement too. I know Bob is a huge fan of the book, not sure why more people aren't reading it.
And I like Constantine but this whole Blight storyline made me drop it. I'm not picking up 14 books because of one title I kind of enjoy.

I'm close to dropping unchained, I'm very torn on it. I have faith in Scott Snyder but it just isn't doing anything for me. The first arc has been very sluggish and I wouldn't recommend it if Superman isn't someone's absolute favourite.

It's also too bad that it's the majority opinion I hear regarding the series. Plus having a Rick Remender-esque long first arc can really kill a series momentum. It'll be interesting to see what the second arc is like

Like I mentioned over in Forever Evil, the Blight storyline is really killing the book's momentum right now which is a damn shame.

What can I say? Not every title, even with the best of teams, is going to be a hit for everybody
