I have read watchmen, i have seen the movie (which was great) and i have watched the motion comic. But i have yet to read Before Watchmen, say what you will about the series, i want to read some of them and i have heard some are really good while other land of there face (hard). What do you recommend buying.
My options are ... BEFORE WATCHMEN: NITE OWL/DR. MANHATTAN BEFORE WATCHMEN: OZYMANDIAS/CRIMSON CORSAIR BEFORE WATCHMEN: MINUTEMEN/SILK SPECTRE

Silk Spectre is worth reading. I didn't even bother with the rest

Silk Spectre is the best of the bunch. But I also enjoyed Minutemen and Dr. Manhattan quite a bit. I did not get into to the other, although the Jae Lee art in Ozymandias is stunning.

If those are your choices, I'd say go with Minute Men/Silk Spectre. They're the two strongest series in the Before Watchmen line-up and well worth the read.

Not to beat a dead horse but yeah, Silk Spectre is the best out of that bunch.

Minutemen was great, also Darwin Cooke on art was an added bonus.

I'd recommend the Ozymandias collection with the Jae Lee art too. I tried to resist it... dear lord, did I try. It just retreads mostly what was already explained in Watchmen regarding his history with added padding but the art is gorgeous and moody.
The Rorschach stories miss the mark on that character by a country mile. That and The Comedian collection totally justified everyone's fears going in to it.
