I was curious if anyone else was looking to get into this series? I've been a big fan of the series involving the younger Avengers such as Avengers Academy, Avengers Initiative, Avengers Arena, and so forth...

I'm excited for it. A 2.99 title that's a follow up to one of my favorite titles of last year? I'm all in.

Ditto. Avengers Arena was one of my favorites of 2013 and to have the creative team back for Avengers Undercover is awesome. seriously looking forward to this.

Just read issue #1 and I have to say I was extremely impressed with the story. I love the fact that it is picking up right after Avengers Arena and building on these established characters. What did you guys think?

I grabbed this off the rack because it looked interesting, but I haven't read Avengers Arena yet. Is this a title I can jump into or should I put it aside until I can read Arena?

I think as long as you have a general idea of what happened in Avengers Arena you should be just fine. As long as your aware of the fact that several young heroes were kidnapped and forced to kill in a "Hunger Games" style setting because of Arcade you should be fine. I mean it helps enjoy the character moments if you've read series such as Runaways, Avengers Academy, and Avengers Arena, but overall the book is well written for new readers in my opinion.

Thanks for the response! I read it and I'm hooked - I was happy to see Chase and Nico from Runaways, which I just caught up on recently, and there was even a shout-out to Molly! I've got Marvel Unlimited for a month so I've added Avengers Arena to my library and will go ahead and read that before the next issue. It did remind me of the Hunger Games a bit, with the characters being treated like celebrities for surviving a horrible experience in which they had to do terrible things to live.

Hey all, just read this week's #3 and wow, I didn't see that coming. I thought they were going to extend that particular storyline out for a little bit longer so I'm interested to see where the story goes from here. I also let out a little squee when Daimon Hellstrom made an appearance because I loved his interactions with Kid Loki and Leah in Journey into Mystery and am glad it looks like we'll be seeing more of that character in this book.

Yeah issue 3 was really good, i also didn't see it coming but it was pretty satisfying for me.I really liked the storytelling in this issue, from beginning to end. Would've liked it bit better though if the art was done by Kev Walker, but the other artist wasn't bad either.

Wow, was anyone surprised by that ending? That final fight scene escalated quickly.

Avengers Undercover #5 was pretty entertaining and i loved the appearance of a very interesting character that i haven't seen for a while(don't want to spoil anything, but if you've read Runaways you definitely know this character)

I really hope the character plays a part in this series as it goes forward.

September solicits announced that issue 10 will be the finale, I have to say I'm disappointed. NOOOOOOOOOOO. Urgh, I'm so disappointed, this book has been one of my favorites every month. I did read Dennis Hopeless's Twitter and he says that he's going to be able to wrap up the story as he intended even though the end is coming two issues sooner, so at least we'll have a conclusion.

Yeah that sucks, this should go on much longer. But i'm sure Hopeless will wrap it up the right way.And who knows, maybe we will get another series with these characters some day.
