Bobbie; just wanted to say that I find your intelligent insight into the world of comics and beyond very inspiring. I love listening to your thoughts on the podcast as 9 times out of 10 they echo my own thinking on the books you read and enjoy. Keep up the good work man (I know Bob gets so much love all the time so I just wanted to throw some your way

Bobby, I went back in time and listened to a podcast from January; it was the 2014 Predictions podcast and you opened the show by announcing you'd found a venue for your wedding, which is coming up really fast! I just wanted to extend my congratulations and best wishes to you and your fiancee. My wife and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary this May, and I can honestly say it's been the most rewarding and demanding year of my life. And I've never been happier. Good luck to you both. I have no words of advice or anything, not like you need them, but I would say it's an amazing day for the groom, too, and special in ways the world doesn't always prepare us guys to handle. Don't get short changed. Indulge yourself! Enjoy every moment! Popular culture has kind of made the wedding day all about the bride, but man, you're getting married too! It's about the two of you. Again, I've been listening to you talk for a year now so I know you don't need my advice. Anyway, Congrats and Good Luck!

Can you guys/gal talk about the Quinspiracy/Gamergate controversy that is going on. Really would love to hear you guys reactions/thoughts.
I know its not about comic books, but the issues/discussions about equality/diversity/journalism that video games deal with seem to parallel comic books, and those two worlds seem to bump into each other and react to each other anyway.
Thanks for your time.

Sentiments like this always brighten dark days. Without listeners like you I'm just a dude yelling into the void so take some credit for yourself.

Thankfully my fiancée is amazing and is not at all the "this day is about me" type of person. I'm just excited to party with my friends and family, eat good food and have a great time. It's comforting to hear from someone who has gone through it and come out the other end happy so any words are welcome. Thank you for the well wishes!

I was thinking, that it could be interesting to have a kind of 'census' type poll of the Talking Comics community, to see the statistics of ethnicity, gender, age and the countries that people are from. It could be interesting since it seems like there's a significant amount of members from the UK, which seems interesting to me since coming from outside the US, I tend to assume 90% of people I see on the internet are American/Canadian. Also, on a video game site I'm a fan of, Rage Select, a surprisingly significant amount of the fans are from Europe- all over Europe. It's a very small-scale website run by a few friends in Austin, Texas, and yet has fans from Estonia, Portugal, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Ecuador, and Ukraine as well. It also apparently has a sizeable amount of fans from Eastern Europe, which I wouldn't have expected.

I actually have access to those numbers in the analytics of our website. I can take a look and share a little of them.
