I enjoyed the first issue. It was my first ever Moon Knight comic (although, like Bobby, I was a fan of his appearances on those Marvel cards) so, although I followed the story, I don't have a context in which to place the info that's thrown out about his past. In other words, I'm not sure if the blogger is giving us a recap for the benefit of new readers, or if we're being presented with new info about the character. Either way, I'm in for now.

#2 was...not what I was expecting? I didn't hate it, I just found myself rather confused to begin with, and then the ending seemed kind of abrupt to me. I know Warren Ellis is a great writer and it may just be that I'm thrown because I haven't read him before, so I'll continue to pick this up for a while longer, but after really liking the #1 this week I was just left with...hmmmm.

I felt the same. It was weird for a second issue.

I thought the second issue was fantastic! While the ending was very abrupt it was done that left me wanting to know more. I was so happy with the way they used the panels throughout this issue.

I thought issue 2 was brilliant. Not much in the way of development, but an impressive one-shot story. once I pick up on what the panels were doing, I thought it was a great display of how the art is part of the storytelling.

So I just finished it and also really liked the quick one and done story. I saw that there were a lot of white panels, but don't understand what they were trying to do visual can you explain

Once they were killed, their panel turned red, then disappeared. It was a cool storytelling device, but weird for an issue 2.

i liked the tone of this issue. something completely different from issue one. maybe establishing the different facets of the moon knight? i really enjoyed the vunerability displayed at the end, like, what was MK's plan vs the CEO (or whatever) with the gun eliminating the problem. who is the real villain of the story? i hope this character sticks around for a bit. the sniper almost sounded like MK during the first few pages, in a sense of origin anyway.

How good was Issue 3? That artwork, wow. Had to stop myself dribbling over the pages. Ellis, Shalvey and Bellaire, I salute you.

I think for me, issue 3 solidified my feelings that this is going to be a legendary run for the character (though at this point it's so early that it just seems like pure hyperbole on my part). To be honest though I haven't read an issue of a comic and enjoyed it this much in years. The story is a one shot and I think it's really worth checking out.

#3 was my favorite issue yet. This book just gets better and better. I love the jake lockley and Steven grant scene. And the panel before that the colors vs the white suit.. The colors on this book are just too much. Zombie bird dead pool moon knight was just something else, too. I love this book because there is no telling where it is going or what is next. Just so great.

Love the series, but the third issue was a little bit of a let down as far as plot. I liked the glider and moon knight's bird skull.

The ghost punks were a nice touch for a fun little stand alone issue. I enjoyed the art tremendously, as per usual, and can't wait for #4

Just read issue 4 and it was phenomenal. How do these issues just keep getting better and better? It makes the sting of warren ellis leaving hurt so much more. oh great Khonshu, take my soul if it will make Warren Ellis stay on Moon Knight! PLEASE! JUST TAKE IT!
