Check out the preview here
I saw this book on the back of another comic like 2 or 3 months ago, and it's coming out Wednesday finally. I really dig the art and the concept, and was wondering if anyone else was excited about this like I am?

I've really enjoyed Wasteland so I'll definitely check out the first issue at least. I really liked the art in the preview and tend to be a sucker for crime stories in a sci-fi setting (like the newer Dredd movie). Wasteland can be pretty out there and weird, so I'll be interested to see where this series goes.

Even the workers at my LCS hadn't really heard much of this so I felt like I had to share it. I'm hoping it ends up being a hidden gem.

I actually read this book last night and enjoyed it. In the letter section the writer describes it as being a sci-fi detective genre, which takes from popular series such as The Wire, Law and Order, The Killing, and a few other tv series. The first issue is a good start to what looks to be a book with a bright future.

I loved the back and forth between Dietrich and Klem. I also like the fact that they are the only detectives on the "Russia Shift" so you know that is going to play into it. And even though the Fuse houses a half million people, someone in a review I read said that with limited space to explore, we will get to know the setting mor intimately. I loved this issue!

Glad other folks enjoyed this first issue. I loved it too, as it combined two of my favorite genres, police procedural, and sci-fi. I'm surprised that some sites gave it a mediocre or negative review. I think Antony Johnston can be an acquired taste, but I really enjoyed it.

thought the first issue was good; already preordered the Umbral trade. Really liking Johnston's work, and the artists he collaborates with, too.

I liked it, the 2 detectives are sound characters, but i think it's still too early to make a clear call on it for me personally

Anyone else still really enjoying this book? Issue 3 definitely makes things even more interesting. I enjoy the art a lot. Cartoony but practical. I am still loving the dynamic between the 2 detectives and the mystery that is The Fuse in general. Pretty cool story so far!

Thought the concept and the art were interesting and finally decided to pick it up. Burned through 1-4 and I am really digging the banter between the detectives. The mystery is intriguing enough to keep me picking it up for now. Doesn't seem like many people are talking about this book though, but it is really solid so far and seems like it could end up being a nice hard-boiled detective series with an interesting sci-fi twist.

Out of the many books that I read a month, The Fuse seems to always get me excited to read. The story and art together just seem unique and grab me like other books fail to do lately. Or get me lost in some odd story.

What did everyone think about the end of the first arc? I thought it was good. This has always been a book that I look forward to reading. Cool concept and great art. I like the funny yet serious buddy cop story with a sci fi twist. This series is taking a break until November I believe but I will highly anticipate the return!

Anyone still on this book? I've been collecting the single issues but just caught up reading. I loved the first arc, The Russia Shift. The balance between police procedural with the sci-fi elements really pays off and I love the development in the relationship between the two main detectives. It may not be the flashiest comic, but a solid, enjoyable story and I'd love to see this on TV.

Yep, really good comic. Not the top of the pile but a solid unflashy read with superior character work. Somewhat like Revival. A definite must-read for me.

I really love this book but I'm sure if you were to read it in trades it would be a little better.
