Read new avengers and Loki agent of Asgard. New avengers was awesome as per usual and I love the tone of the new Loki book, looking forward to see how the ending starts to develop. :-)

They are going for a Tom Hiddlestonesque take on Loki and it really comes across well to me. Very enjoyable fun first issue.

I'm sure I'm with everyone else when I say Ms. Marvel. I haven't finished my pile yet but DUDE. They killed it with that issue. It was funny and well written, as well as being relatable with everyone no matter what race, religion, class, or mindset you have. I love how they made being Pakistani look normal (as it damn well should) and shined a light on how difficult it can be to be different in our culture. [SPOILERS] [SPOILERS] One thing that bothered me though: Can anyone figure out why her hair became blond at the end? It seems weird that the whole book was all about equality and being okay with your lifestyle and looks.... but then at the end they change her appearance so much? That made me feel really weird about what their point was. [/SPOILERS] [SPOILERS] Well considering that in issue 2 it's back to normal I think it was a reaction to the cocoon more than anything. Either it was the reactionary effect of a complete DNA and chemical change which can sometimes lighten hair (Resident Evil 5 logic) or more likely it was the cocoon reacting to her hallucination she had while inside since she also came out in the classic Carol Danvers Ms. Marvel outfit, something else she doesn't keep. It seems to be a common occurrence among Inhumans who have been subjected to the gas. So, hopefully that quenched any doubts/concerns/fears you might have had. Okay cool. I figured it wasn't serious, but me and my girlfriend both thought it was weird.

Screw it I'm picking it up at my LCS this week. Should be fun.

From what I can gather, her Inhuman power is shape shifting, which is why she appeared as Captain Marvel after having the dream and emerging from the Cocoon.

Before she gets a grasp on her powers she's probably going to shift into things that she is thinking about or something like that, and since she was dreaming about being Captain Marvel she would obviously take on her appearance. Thanks for that perspective.

My Books of the week, were Forever Evil 5, which may have been my favorite of the series.
Ms. Marvel, was the book I looked forward to the most, and was really pleased. I don't regularly read Cap Marvel, not for disinterest but I just haven't caught up.
Action Comics, all I can say is... if you aren't reading action you should be. It's one of the best DC books out, and one of the Best books out period.

I was going to take it off my pull, but decided I might as well finish it out. I would have regretted it so hard if I cancelled it. This issue was AWESOME.

The Green Lantern/Red Lanters flip book was great! I am really enjoying the direction the Red Lanterns especially has taken. Charles Soule is knocking it out of the park recently. I'm loving his Swamp Thing run and I'm looking forward to reading this weeks She-Hulk.
