Saw it last night and is on par with Avengers for me....loved the fact we basically got confirmed a future Marvel Movie (by name dropping Stephen Strange), I'm excited to see how the upcoming (minus Guardians since they are in another Galaxy) Marvel movies will be affected with the ending of this movie (as well as Agents of S.H.I.E.LD) and that credits scene was AMAZING!!!!

Captain America 2 was AMAZING. My only problem with Marvel Studios after this movie is the fact that there is no Black Widow movie to directly follow her storyline here. We'll have to wait until after Avengers 2 at LEAST.

Great film, easily the best of Phase 2... So far. Lots of twists! Loved the Ed Brubaker cameo! My favorite part of the whole film had to be Sam Wilson. Dude's legit.

Loved it, though Avengers is still #1 for me.
The character moments between Cap and Black Widow really made it for me. Great chemistry. Falcon was cool too.

What a movie! I agree with what pretty much everyone is saying about it. It was incredible.
What was everyone's favorite scene/moment? Are we allowing spoilers in this thread?

Might be the best action choreography i've ever seen, regardless of genre. The fights and chases are so smooth and creative and quick and fun to watch.
On the whole, i can't say it's better than Avengers (or even Cap 1, or maybe even Iron Man 1), but it's certainly right up there near the top with those and with Thor 2. Fantastic movie. Can't wait to see it again.

Second the spoiler idea! It'd be nice to have a thoughtful discussion about the main plot points, twists, and what it means for future Marvel movies.

Watched this with my girlfriend yesterday and we both loved it. Despite being a casual comic reader she's not familiar with much Captain America or the Winter Soldier storyline from the comics, so I was really pleased after the rooftop chase when she leaned over and whispered "is that who I think it is...?"
Anyone who isn't familiar with who the Winter Soldier is will definitely get an extra buzz from the reveal. I haven't seen the "Assembling a Universe" special, but heard that they spoiled it in a really casual and offhand way. I know I'd have been annoyed if I'd found out like that.

Yeah, the reveal was spoiled all over the place, including in that special. I was trying to keep it from my wife, but no luck.

Just got back from seeing it before. JESUS that was an intense film. And amazingly choreographed. I think this is my favourite Marvel film so far. And now since Sebastian Stan is signed on for 8(?) more films I'm really looking forward to seeing more of him.
Just as a side not, that metal arm looked insanely cool.

Just as a side not, that metal arm looked insanely cool. It did! That's the kind of straight-up comic-book-y thing that would have been tempered or excised from a movie a decade ago.
