anybody else tired of the endless one off tie-ins on the batman related books. I personally do not read any direct Batman books.. however really enjoy Birds of Prey Red Hood and the outlaws... Batgirl
i am tired of story arcs being interrupted by the Dark knight over flow.. e.g. zero year, gothtopia
Plus we also had villains months which disrupted things as well...

Do you think is a way to advise DC the issues people are having.. I think loss of book sales is not the way forward... it hurts their income... there has to be a better way for them to learn

I think we are in a minority when it comes to people who drop series due to tie-ins. Both books are selling around 38-34k so I don't forsee any changes coming to the format anytime soon.

It just no feel like they are actually trying to find out problem... and I am sure tie-in issue is only one potential problem Nightwing sale 2013 26 - 38,800 25 - 43.922 25 - 39K 23 - 40K 22 - 42K 21 - 43K 20 - 45K 19 - 46K 18 - 48K 17 - 62K 16 - 69K

Issue 16 and 17 were Death of the Family centric issues, and 18 was Requiem the post Damian death issue. However, after these events the title was unable to retain the readers it possibly picked up. Also issue 25 saw a spike it sales, and that was the Zero Year tie-in. So it would appear that despite our personal taste, more people will always buy into tie-ins than not.

very true, however Nightwing started off with a purchase number in 2011 of around about 60K.. so yes tie ins to the batman world are a requirement... but this trend can't be sustainable....
I am not the all knowing.. but they do need to find a way to sustain their books without Batman... yes I know he is the number one dc character etc etc etc... but can it last?
