My Book of the Week 12/2/2015

so I still have a few books on my pile, but had to mention this book.  I know it's technically a 20 year old reprint, but The Maxx: Maxximized 26 came out this week and his has to be pointed at.  this is an issue that is not for everyone as it has some pretty disturbing content (nothing too graphic, but much is implied or hinted at), but wow did it hit me right in the feels.  The short version is this issue goes into Mr Gone's background and between the imagery and the way the story is told (Sara is reading his diary) it is powerful stuff.  You get a completely new perspective on Gone and by the end I felt really bad for Him (though it doesn't excuse his actions earlier in the series) and Sara.
