Thought this new Image series from BKV and Cliff Chiang deserves its own thread. Great first issue.Great creative team.Having grown up in the late eighties/early nineties i think this first issue captured that period and feeling pretty nicely so far.And i enjoyed the ending a lot. Can't wait to see more of this story and these characters(who i liked almost immediately)
And this first issue has more than 50 pages!for only three bucks! Now that's how you do it! Though i have to say i read through it pretty quickly, but that's only because its so good.
Thoughts?

I picked it on on pre-order (always a nice this to do for you local comic shop ) and I really enjoyed it. Getting this and Plutona #2 in the same week, it's a good time for 1980s teen horror/suspense.

Yeah i'm also really loving Plutona!I heard its a 5 issue mini series though, don't know how to feel about that. But still, that book and Paper Girls are two great new additions to the already huge list of amazing Image titles!

I thought it was breezy and also a quick read (which was due to the lack of narration and the setting of tone via art. It worked.
