I'm not trying turn this thread into my blog or something, but I'm absolutely loving this book. This kind of storytelling would be impossible in a monthly, and I'm so grateful that's the case. The storytellers are going all out and bringing elements from every corner of the Bat Universe to the table, from gang wars to international espionage to the supernatural to supervillains with crazy schemes. This is the most ambitious comics project I've ever read, and it's truly amazing what they're doing if you stop and think about it. Is anyone else here still reading it?

I realize this title is called "Batman Eternal" but seriously when is this going to be over? The plot is really starting to meander. I can't even tell what this arc is even about any more.

The Selina Kyle and Stepphanie Brown story arcs in this are amazing. It's got me super excited for the new Catwoman series. And put Spoiler in anything and I'm in. I know its not going to happen, but man I hope she's the new Robin.

I just want Steph to be Spoiler. I always hated that she gave up her own identity to become another Robin/Batgirl. Spoiler was original and I appreciated that about her. She shouldn't have to be a bat or a bird to be accepted in the Batman family.

Hm. I love the whole thing. I don't think it's stalling at all.

I think it did start to stall a bit a few issues back, but its been on the top of my pile ever since Hush was introduced. Also I'm the only one thinks that James Tynion IV is going to be the next big DC writer. The dude is killing it on Eternal every issue he writes is amazing. Not to mention how awesome Talon was before he left, The Batman backups and and his ongoing book the Woods from boom is great. I can't wait to see what he does in the future. Personally i would give him Batman after Snyder leaves, when ever that will be.

Actually the Woods has been so good from BOOM! that they gave him the go ahead to finish the story and they will publish it all. The story has been really interesting to me so far. I really like that they have pulled in so many aspects of the Batman universe into it as I ahve not been a Batman reader.

So this finally ended. What an ending! Absolutely loved it. My only problem was the Batwing/supernaturally stuff, it just felt so super out of place and always brought the story to s screeching halt for me.
Amazing Steph Brown moments in #52 also which got me so excited for the future.

Man, I fell so far behind. I still intend to finish it, but I think I have about 15 issues.
