Just got my books for this month delivered and therefore my first DCYou titles.
Good lord, this was fantastic. I have no previous Hitman or Section 8 experience so I went in cold and wasn't lost. The main thing that impressed me was how funny the book is. Of a particular humour but done so well. Everybody has as different idea of what is funny, and the common comedy note that comic books hit tend to be of the Harley Quinn variety.
Nice to see DC not only trying different flavours of books, but also different flavours of different flavours of books. I'm certain that makes sense.
Who's reading it? What did you think?

I picked this up and loved it. Was also in same boat as you, as I'd never read any Section 8 before. I loved the humour, it's what I imagine a Superhero strip written by Viz magazine would be. The racist Batman joke had me crying with laughter.

I didn't realise it was a 6 issue mini until this week. I'll be disappointed that its ending so soon if the quality keeps up.

Jonathan, This is WAY off topic, but in his later years, Orson Welles would carry around a full-size window whilst travelling! He was in the process of shooting a number of his independent projects such as "Don Quixote", and if he came upon a shot that he had to have, he would shoot through this window so as to link this new shot with something in the can, as if it was part of the previous setting!

That is as far left field as one oculd venture! I find that hilarious, but oddly fascinating.

Jonathan, I almost didn't post that bit of information, not wanting to derail things, but my feeble old mind connects things in odd ways, so I figured "What the heck?", and just went with it!

Bob Reyer doesn't "derail". Bob Reyer "detours" and we're all the richer for it, sir. Did you read Section 8, Bob?
