was hoping this would show up on comixology what with Dark Horse being brought into the fold, but it was nowhere to be found... yet, anyway.

My first thought when Stephanie described this was that the premise reminded a lot of Frank Miller's Ronin. A lot of similar themes (ancient hero reincarnated in cyberpunk future to fight return of supernatural enemy) and styling, but plenty of differences too. I would have happily read more if I'd been handed this as a trade, but not sure it grabbed me enough to stick with it tbh.
I picked it up through the Dark Horse app, too. Hopefully new releases will start showing up on Comixology soon, but that's a pretty big catalogue to be converting to guided view.

I was pleasantly surprised by this. Didn't strike me off the bat as something I'd be into, but it was fun and action packed. Really cool art made it easy to tell a lot of the story through the pictures.

Sounded like Ronin with Mulan.
It was okay, but I really love Ronin, so if I want a story like this I'll just read Ronin again.
