What are everyone's thought on Marvel now eventually becoming the owners of Star Wars comics again? As a Marvel fan and Star Wars fan I have mixed emotions on it. I absolutely love what Dark Horse has been doing with Star Wars, especially Brian Wood's run and hate to see it stripped away. But at the same time I love what Marvel is currently doing and the thought of people like Hickman, Fraction, Aaron and others writing a Star Wars series gets me super excited. Especially Hickman... Give that man a Star Wars title asap!

I'm actually really excited. I think Marvel has been doing great things. It will only help both parties. I would like to see them bring over the writers from the current runs though, even if they revamp the star wars comic universe.

The very first thing that scares me is that most books will now be $3.99. I love the fact that we get such an amazing title in Brian Woods Star Wars for $2.99. I also read Star Wars Legacy and the Dawn of the Jedi minis. Although this new series Force War is $3.50, its not that glaring $3.99 book that makes me cringe when I see it in my stack. The benefit I see of this is that the bigger Marvel writers and artists or even those under contract will have the ability to write/draw a new spin on the universe so that is always exciting. Wouldnt it be cool to have Bendis at Celebration signing one of his new books lol. Maybe a pipe dream!

I would posit the majority of people feel the Brain Wood run on 'Star Wars' will be ending too soon with the move. This was an excellent series which stayed grounded in the cinematic universe. Having said that, make mine Marvel!

I find it a little bit intriguing. It will be nice to have somewhere to begin, there is a lot of Star Wars content out there and it's really hard to decide what to even consider reading and where to start because there is such a complex library that already exists.
