The greatest villain of all time. I'd say it was sad, and it is. But at 93 still acting and still being metal as all get out? Thats a good life.

A very long time ago when I was in the third grade we had Ton of Fun during the summer that was held at the high school in my town for children who had nothing to do on summer break. The counsulers were all high school students and they found a copy of one of the Christopher Lee's Vampire movies on an old real to real movie projector. We sat in the small gym and closed the super thick curtains and played the movie. I was the youngest there and lost my shit. There was a vampire that was so scary and terrified me to no end. I almost cried, and wanted to leave but my mom told me to stay there till lunch time and I didn't want to be a wimp in front of the high school students. I burried that memory deeply right after I left the school to go home for lunch. Over two decades later I was in the theater watching Gandalf talk to Saruman and all those fears came back to me. I didn't know why, but I was terrified of the actor who was playing Saruman. Everything else I have seen Lee in has been great. He lived a long and productive life. I hope we all fare as well.

Random thought but I was just listening to Ian McKellen's WTF interview just basking in his vocal goodness and came to the realisation that there are movies out there that consist of both him and Christopher Lee having a conversation. 2 such amazing voices and actors. How do our ears handle such low tones?
