Read Vision #1 & All New Wolverine #1 today, was very pleased with both. Laura becoming the new Wolverine makes a lot of sense to me and the art was fantastic. Had some great character moments too, the head patting scene got me chuckling. Vision was....different. Great but very different, felt like a bit of a Twin Peaks strangeness. I really want to see where it goes but not sure if it's really on-going material.

If I was more into Marvel I would definitely be going the Marvel Unlimited route, 6 months is nothing, hell you will already be caught up on Secret Wars by the time it finishes!
I wish DC would do something similar as I still pick up a generous amount from them and I could easily live with being 6 months behind.

Read the following today;
Uncanny Avengers #1-2 Enjoyable story, Stegmans art is very stylized here, looks very differnet to hsi previous works not sure how I feel about it. VERY excited to the see Cable appear at the end of #2, Stegman does a great rendition of him!
Uncanny Inhumans #1 That was a great X-Men story. Wait what?? Seriously team going out to rescue new teenager with recent powers from the clucthes of evil humans is a pretty staple, bread & butter x-story :\ That being said the rest of the issue dealing with Black Bolts efforts to rescue his son from Kang is pretty cool. On the note of Kang anyone who didn't pick up #0 prior to secret wars would really struggle to understand that plot line, this doesn't make for a great jump on issue.

Just read Extraordinary X-Men #2 and I'm happy to say it's starting to bring me around. Lots of interesting reveals in this one that kind of set the stage up well.

Enjoyed it much more than #1, stuff with Logan remembering what he did to the X-Men, the banter between Colossus & Magik and that splash page of Sinister! Good stuff all around.

Really enjoyed this week's Mighty Thor #1 and Ms Marvel #1.Both of these books continue to be great, and will definitely stay on my Pull List. Not so sure about Squirrel Girl and Howard the Duck though.Was a bit disappointed with the first issue of those books.

Really agree with your assessment of Thor and Ms Marvel. I wasn't even bummed that Ms Marvel cost $5 because they brought so much with it. It wasn't filler.
Did anyone read Uncanny Inhumans #2??? I am really liking this storyline; I know some are turned off because they feel it's forced on them, but Soule is doing good work. McNiven and Leisten are doing god's work with the art, too.

Read Mighty Thor #1 today and agreed with others here, brilliant book. Felt very epic and the detail of the chemo at the start was heart breaking.

Has anyone been keeping an eye on some of the Sanford Greene art that's out there for Power Man and Iron Fist. I really dig his style. It looks like this series will be high energy.

anyone else pick up all-new inhumans? thought it was fairly well done and showed some promise. probably give a it a few issues and see where it goes reading this and extraordinary x-men this week (and spider man 2099 in previous weeks) has convinced me I don't care about the last 2 issues of secret wars though. from what I've seen it seems like secret wars only really has any bearing on a few specific characters and otherwise the rest of 616 winds up more or less how it was before the event started. I was expecting everything to be more of a mish-mash once we came out the other side, but so far it appears the problems from before are still the problems now, and not much has changed except we now have a world where Miles and OML coexist with the 616 versions of everyone else. seems like it doesn't matter how SW ends at this point.

I'm guessing that the ending of Secret Wars will have some consequences for the Richards family as well. That's the only reason I keep reading it. I'm beyond curious to see where they land post SW.

I steered clear of Secret Wars altogether and feel lime I really made out compared to others. I'm reading All New All Different and don't feel like I'm missing anything the continually pushed back series would provide. And it feels great.
I figure if I hear good things about the event series, I can pick em up in trade and already plan to do so for Robin War.

I agree and really enjoyed the series, so it's definitely worth reading at some point. Where the story has gone wrong for me, and ultimately killed my interest in finishing it, is that it hasn't had the impact I expected on the Marvel U. Aside from a couple of the battleworld characters being moved into the main continuity (and a few characters shifting teams/locations) everything seems to be picking up where it left off before the event. I was expecting a major overhaul of the entire sandbox with SW (which is kind of how it was pitched to the public; remember the pizza analogy?) and if the new books are any indication that's not what happens, or at least not to the degree I had expected.
