shout out for Injection! Woot! to comment on the supergirl preview, and I might not be remembering that part of the show correctly or mixing it up with the missfits, but I seem to recall someone liking that she seemed like a confident woman (this is extremely paraphrased and again I may be mixing up the shows because i listened to them back to back) and I have to differ on that. I liked that she seemed to have to figure out exactly what she was capable of on the fly and wasn't confident at all that she could do what needed to be done. She didn't know if she was bullet-proof. She wasn't sure if she could fly or not. None of that stopped her from trying though and I really like that about how she was portrayed. It's that kind of thing that makes me hope the content of the show isn't too mature because I have an 8 year old daughter that I think would like it a lot if it doesn't get too dark. I'd like her to see a hero putting herself out there without really knowing if she was capable of what she needed to do and I think more young girls (hell, and young boys too) could really benefit from that kind of role model. in the spirit of the listener questions/comments/etc for next show, I like how you guys pull twitter comments regarding the shared book of the week, but it would be even cooler to also include some stuff from the message board thread. not necessarily read them off verbatim, but take a quick look and see if there are any points/debates/discussions us message-board-dwellers have brought up that would be worth expanding upon. It would feel like those of us without twitter are more part of the conversation great show guys!

If I'm not mistaken, there is a Listener Questions thread in the Talking Comics board. If you post any questions you have on there I'm pretty sure the team will check and read out as many as they can!

If I'm not mistaken, there is a Listener Questions thread in the Talking Comics board. If you post any questions you have on there I'm pretty sure the team will check and read out as many as they can! If i recall correctly, Bobby only mentioned Twitter and email, i didn't hear him say anything about the Forum.Which is not the first time the Forum didn't get mentioned on the show.I also noticed that lately when they are talking about listener comments on the shared BOTW only the Twitter comments are getting mentioned, which might give some people the impression that this place is being ignored. Not saying it is, but it might come off that way.Granted, there may not always be many comments on here, but if there are any maybe it would be nice if some were mentioned.Same goes for Listener Questions. Don't mean to whine and moan, or tell anyone what to do, but it is something i've been noticing more and more, and i couldn't help myself saying something about it.Hope this won't be taken the wrong way. Other than that i thought the show was great this week.

You guys caught me I fully intended to ignore all questions and interaction in here as an insult to our most die hard fans.....does sarcasm translate via forum post?
Come on folks you know if there are good questions here, or book of the week comments we will read them. If you don't have to wait for me to say "leave it on the forums" it's implied! That's why it's a forum. I'm sorry if anyone felt left out as that was never my intention, but let's just hop past this and get onto talking about real stuff!

I don't believe i ever said you intended anything, or meant to insult anyone. If it came off that way i apologize, but i thought it was pretty clear what i was trying to say.And i'm only saying it because i care so much about this place.
But you're right, lets move on.Don't want to make this in to a pointless discussion.

Yep let's get back to Talking Sandwiches, I'm thinking they have stumbled onto gold here with her heat vision she can lightly toast those 'wiches and I'm thinking with a super-palette she could have a taste explosion going on!
I'm more convinced now than ever to go watch Mad Max thanks to this weeks episode and also well chuffed that there was some Injection love but had to chuckle as after reading it I reflex bought Warren Ellis Trees and heard the mixed feelings but I do like me some WElli.
Next Week I have made the incredible decision to purchase 2 Marvel books and I blame you all

Ha nobody read Mantle or Lantern City? Plus a new issues of "The Auteur" came out.
But I agree Harrow County was great Cullen Bunn is the man. The Problem I have with him is he writes so much stuff at all times that it is impossible to read all of his work.

If I were on the show this past week Mantle #1 would have been my book of the week. I loved it. Perhaps I will bring it up when issue #2 hits. Ed Brisson is steadily becoming my favorite writer of 2015.

Mantle is a Brisson book? I completely missed that. Ever since Sheltered, I've been trying to look out for more of his stuff. Completely failed on that one... I will have to go check it out, hopefully my LCS still has some copies.
