Good discussion about Age of Ultron, guys!I agreed with a lot of what you said. This is just a suggestion, so do with it what you will, but maybe it would be nice if the next time the show is delayed or something like that if it could be mentioned somewhere on the Forum by the TC crew, for those people that don't follow Talking Comics on Twitter, or don't have Twitter at all(like me).Don't mean to bitch or anything, you know i love you guys, but it was just something i noticed.Like i said, do with it what you will. And Bob, your emotional speech has made me want to read Fantastic Four again.I have always loved the team and what they stand for, but the last couple of years i haven't kept up at all.The Hickman run was the last thing i read, so now i want to read what came after that, the Fraction run of FF and Fantastic Four, and the James Robinson run.Think most of that is on Marvel Unlimited. So thanks for that, Bob! Dave, The Matt Fraction runs on F4 and FF are well worth your time, as they were both excellent reads, and heavy on the fun and adventure aspects; as to Mr. Robinson's, now that you know ahead of time that about the arc of the story, you won't have the dread that I did after three issues when I though the book was going irretrievably dark! Have fun! Bob ps) You're 100% right about posting a notice here! That's on me for not thinking of it, if it happens again, I'll be ready next time! rrr

I loved Endgame more than anything, but Bobby's retelling of it gave me chills. It's funny how listening to someone else talk about something makes you enjoy it even more. Also I was just curious Bob Reyer if you'll be reading the new Batman run with the obvious tonal change but especially because (highlight to reveal spoilers) the fact its Jim Gordon and his relatonship to Batgirl which is going to make me read Batgirl even after not enjoying it that much because I am so curious how thats going to work. I'm curious if he'll ever find out as I've always loved the whole ongoing thing of "I'm not an idiot, of course I know, I just choose not to acknowledge" side of Jim's relationship to Bruce and Barbara. Anyway, just curious.

but think of how great it would have been if Cap had picked up Mjolnir at a critical time and saved the day That's what I wanted to see! The scene with The Vison was great, don't get me wrong, but how about this: with Thor down for the count, he hands Mjolnir to Cap, who throws the hammer clean through Ultron, wiping that metallic grin right off his kisser! That scene would have brought the house down, in my opinion at least. Maybe that idea came to Whedon and he thought it was too predictable? I guess he wanted to give Vision a big moment. To me it makes no sense. That's a big loophole in Odin's enchantment. Hopefully Whedon provides some commentary on DVD

I feel the same way about the FF and have been reading it since Sue first gave birth to Franklin, while catching up via Marvel Greatest Comics. I understand acknowledging only the artists and writers, but I feel like Joe Sinnott deserves special mention.
Also, and to a lesser degree, Steranko did a couple of covers that will never leave my head.
Thanks Bob for the beautiful words.

Jim, Thank you for being a Fantastic Four fan of such long standing...and you're 100% right about Joe Sinnott! That was a terrible, terrible oversight, forgetting the man who so beautifully inked decades of FF issues! (I love those Steranko covers, particularly the Frightful Four issue!)

Damn, Bob, that was some serious feels, right there. Thank you for sharing that with us. Tony, Thanks so much! That requiem wasn't easy to get through, as it was awfully personal, so I'm glad that that people have responded so positively. Long live the Fantastic Four!
