That explains why Sex Criminals 1, 4 and 5 are 99 cents this morning. (Strangely, 2 and 3 are still $1.99.) Recommended! The collection is out too, but it's $9.99.

Over on Dark Horse digital, they are having a one-day sale for Brian Wood's The Massive. You can get all the currently published issues, 21 I think altogether, for $10. I think the series is going to run for 30 issues or so, so this will get you caught up on most of the series as it reaches the final arc.
I've been getting the series in print and really enjoying it. If you liked Wood's DMZ series, you'll probably like this. The story focuses on a group of radical environmental activists called The Ninth Wave, think a more confrontational Greenpeace made up of ex-mercenaries. As the story starts, there have been multiple environmental catastrophes, earthquakes, tsunamis, and the like that have destabilized much of the world. Ninth Wave has a small fleet of ships and has lost contact with one of its ships, appropriately called The Massive.
The story deals with questions of finding one's purpose in a destabilized world, whether to hold on to certain ideals or shift with a changing world, violence vs. non-violence, and how/why so many environmental disasters have happened all at once. Overall, the story is a bit of a slow burn that rewards ongoing investment and features really fantastic art (Jordie Bellaire is everywhere!).

Dark Horse Digital is having a 3-year anniversary sale this weekend. 50% off everything and if you subscribe to their newsletter, you get a code for an additional 10% off. I just picked up a lot of Conan, BPRD, along with Blacksad, Bad Houses, and other interesting stuff.
Plus, you thought you could get rid of me, but you can get the ENTIRE run of Concrete, 7 volumes, over 2000 pages of goodness, for $15 with this sale. I'm just saying....

so I told myself i really need to cut back on buying digital comic books because I probably have over a 200 or so digital books I have yet to read, but comixology won't have it, they started an ultimate x-men bundle sale. I read the first 50 a while back but couldn't remember who the writer was. I told myself unless I knew the writer was good I'd exercise my free will and be satisfied with the numerous books I have yet to read. And the writer was; Brian K Vaughan, only until issue 65 or so, then Robert Kirkman takes over. Well fuck me, temptation wins again. Seriously though, the Bundle might seem steep at a hundred bucks but if you haven't ready any of the issues included, were talking 70 cents an issue. You can just by each issue at 99 cents as well.

There's a nice Monkeybrain sale up on Comixology right now.
I think you can get all of their titles for 50% off if you enter a promo code(thought it was indie or something like that)at checkout. Their stuff is cheap to begin with but if you enter the code you only need to pay something like fifty cents per book.
There's also a Dynamite sale that has some great titles for sale.

I feel like a spokesperson for Comixology sometimes(i'm not, by the way)but they got some awesome sales again.
Big Batman sale that features some of Snyder's run, Dark Knight Returns, Long Halloween, and a whole lot more.
There's also a Image sale including a lot of trades and single issues of East of West, Saga, Rat Queens and Pretty Deadly.
