Great episode as usual! Loved that it was almost two and a half hours, more the better! I was disappointed at stitcher though. I was at work in my cubicle and stritcher would not load the new episode. I didn't get to listen till I got home today. It would have made work so much better. Spider woman was sold out at my shop. Good for the book.but it annoys me when that happens because as far as my shop goes, I know it's sold out because they didn't order enough, not because 60 people came to get it. Now I gotta run around to find it. Not a treky but I did buy that issue in honor of Ninoy passing. I was never a fan of the show. But I always thought he was the man! I liked the book a lot more than I thought I would. I think that I'm on board now. Maybe this will help open me up to more star trek. Descender was also sold out  . I had to help some people out this week so I'm so broke. I have to wait till next Friday to pick up my pull list and run around like a mad man on a mission to find descender, spider woman, and whatever else wasn't on my pull list yet, that I want to check out. |

I'm sure descender will get a 2nd printing if you're willing to be patient  I had to watch Futurama's "Where No Fan has Gone Before" in honor of Nimoy; some of the best Leonard you will ever find: "Hey, a body! Buff, tan, yeah, this is my body all right." |

I'm not so sure I'm the kind of person who can wait for a second print. When I get it in my head that I want to own it, I gotta run across CT to find it lol. It's the crazy comic collector in me

Bummed you guys didnt talk about the Supergirl casting news/costume. Assuming you might be saving it for next week or something. But seeing as an Avengers trailer is nothing new, would have been nice to hear about something genuinely new and fresh. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on it eventually though.

Okay this is gonna come off sounding bitter and snarky and I genuinely don't mean it to. But after finishing this weeks episode, I was again surprised at the lack of any discussion regarding the Supergirl news. Because (and I know its not smart to presume but the vibe I get off the show gives me this feeling anyway) I feel like had it been a Captain Marvel reveal or announcement, there would be a whle segment based on it and fireworks in the air. The fact that this is a female lead superhero show coming to TV so soon, (with a completely un-sexualised costume mind you) before any other superhero property has really done anything but announce films years in advance (Wonder Woman/Captain Marvel) is HUGE.
Not just directed at this podcast, but I think its just me getting tired of this patronizing pat on the back "you did alright kid" attitude to DC while Marvel gets lifted up on everyones shoulders for doing something we've seen already.

I kid. I get the sense it just didn't bubble up in conversation. They didn't really talk much TV or movie stuff AT ALL this time around.
I like the costume.

Agree with you 100%. The Marvel stuff gets more attention but it doesn't really interest me. The Supergirl series looks interesting, excited to see what they do with it |
