Classic and revolutionary. Now that I'm an adult I'm revisiting the series and it's still great. I'm able to pick up on more stuff than I did as a kid which adds a whole new layer of fantastic. The gravity and emotion on episodes like "heart of ice", or the introduction of Harley Quinn have definitely helped make this an institution in batman lore. Did anybody else get sucked into this series when it was fresh?
If digging up old tv shows is inappropriate I apologize in advance.

I dusted off my DVDs recently and watched a couple of episodes (including Heart of Ice). I loved the series when it was first on TV and it really holds up well.
Kevin Conroy is the definitive Batman, and I can't be alone in hearing his voice when I'm reading Batman comics.

This is one of the things that got me into comics and geek culture as a kid. I literally never missed an episode, I really want to get the whole collection on dvd. In my opinion Conroy is Batman. Whenever I picture or read Batman its in his voice.

Batman will always be Kevin Conroy in my opinion. That's all I'm going to say.

i was still a kid when it first aired on british tv - it was my favourite part of the saturday morning cartoons & cereal ritual. that opening sequence STILL gives me chills!
and returning to it as an adult, it's still brilliant. thanks to the writing and the art style, it holds up really well. and i'll echo what others have said - when i read batman comics, it's the voice of Kevin Conroy i hear.
by the way, just noted that the animated series for Batman Beyond is on Netflix. is it worth checking out?

There are some really great episodes and it's the same creative team. It's worth checking out. It is a lot more science fiction oreiented though.

I hear a lot of batman's supporting characters and villains in my head when i read batman stories. So your not the only one.
