Through watery eyes, I've just posted a short essay entitled Leonard Nimoy: In Memorium . As an addendum, here's what for me would be the Top Five Star Trek: TOS episodes that would be required viewing for understanding the character of Mr. Spock. In no particular order: The Menagerie: The two-parter crafted from the original Jeffrey Hunter pilot "The Cage", we see a Spock who finds a logical way to perform a very emotional deed! Amok Time: Spock must return to Vulcan for his pre-arranged marriage, featuring a life-and-death struggle with Jim Kirk! Journey to Babel: Where-in we meet Mr. Spock's mother and father, a man he might have to sacrifice to save the Enterprise! City on the Edge of Forever: The shiniest star in the Trek firmament, with the Spock/Kirk interplay never better! This Side of Paradise: Mr, Spock encounters a woman who knew him back on Earth, and due to the influence of some odd plant spores, his emotional side comes to the surface, and he falls in love. Beautifully written by Dorothy (D.C.) Fontana, movingly played by Mr. Nimoy and Jill Ireland, and simply heart-wrenching. And of course, you must see "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan"! Live long, and prosper.

Mr. Reyer sir....what more could anyone say when as always, you have said it best. The world feels a bit more empty now. There is a void in this massive universe we live in that will never be filled. To say Leonard Nimoy will be missed is an understatement of course. His star will shine brightly forever. Rest In Peace

I hope that any in our community who have not had the chance to truly grasp the amazing character Mr. Nimoy brought to the screen in its purest form will sample some of the original episodes, and I'm certain their appreciation will double.
