After looking over the Previews catalog, I am wondering what Convergence titles people are excited about. I was going to sit this one out but....there are quite a few that dound really interesting. The Batgirl book with Stephanie Brown, Cassandra Cain, Red Robin, and throw in Grodd? Cmon! That sounds awesome! Nightwing and Oracle sounds good also... not to mention, well, here is my list. JL International...those characters clashing with characters from Kingdom Come. The New Teen Titans..Marv Wolfman...80's. Ted Cord Blue Beetle...nuff said Infinity Inc....Usually wouldn't care but, it involves a post apocalyptic Jonah Hex? What??? Plastic Man and the Freedom Fighters.....Nazis....yes! Shazam!....Shazam family in the world of Gotham By Gaslight....nice! Am i just naive? I realize that they will be two issue stories and then they will be done...I think...but the stories sound so cool to me! Just having them to read will be awesome....I hope. Maybe DC will be testing the responce the stories get and do something with it...it happened at Marvel with Spider Gwen right?

Swamp Thing by creator Len Wein, Batgirl, and the Rucka Question.
Some great stuff in there. Really tempted by the Parallax Hal Green Lantern too.

I definitely think they are testing the water with some of these. An interview I read with Rucka suggested he might be writing again for DC in the future (he'd be interested in writing Batwoman again!)
Definitely a lot of titles I am interested in, but week one is going to be AMAZING with Nightwing/Oracle, Batgirl, and The Question. Here's what I am going to be getting (with a few that I will decide in store).
WEEK ONE BATGIRL - Writer: Alisa Kwitney Artist: Rick Leonardi & Mark Pennington NIGHTWING / ORACLE - Writer: Gail Simone Artist: Jan Duursema & Dan Parsons JUSTICE LEAGUE [maybe] - Writer: Frank Tieri Artist: Vicente Cifuentes QUESTION - Writer: Greg Rucka Artist: Cully Hamner BATMAN & ROBIN - Writer: Ron Marz Artist: Denys Cowan & Klaus Janson HARLEY QUINN - Writer: Steve Pugh Artist: Phil Winslade & John Dell
WEEK TWO BATMAN: SHADOW OF THE BAT - Writer: Larry Hama Artist: Philip Tan & Jason Paz GREEN ARROW - Writer: Christy Marx Artist: Rags Morales & Claude St-Aubin CATWOMAN - Writer: Justin Gray Artist: Ron Randall SUICIDE SQUAD [maybe] - Writer: Frank Tieri; Artist: Tom Mandrake
WEEK THREE BATMAN AND THE OUTSIDERS - Writer: Marc Andreyko Artist: Carlos D’Anda WONDER WOMAN- Writer: Larry Hama Art: Josh Middleton SWAMP THING - Writer: Len Wein Artist: Kelley Jones THE FLASH [maybe]- Writer: Dan Abnett Artist: Federico Dallocchio.. NEW TEEN TITANS [maybe] -Writer: Marv Wolfman Artists: Nicola Scott & Marc Deering
WEEK FOUR DETECTIVE COMICS - Writer: Len Wein Artists: Denys Cowan & Bill Sienkiewicz SHAZAM (Earth S) [maybe] -Writer: Jeff Parker Artist: Evan “Doc” Shaner

I'm mainly getting the main Convergence book, and on the side ones Speed Force and Shazam.

I kind of went with artist that I remeber and enjoyed from back in the day. Cool to see them have a crack again at some books. Really excited for Kelly Jones on Swamp Thing, Batman even makes an appearance in the second issue.
Also Larry Hama on Wonder Woman should be cool. Getting the Steel book to I think Louise Simpson is doing that one if I remember right. She created the character so that's cool.

To my knowledge, every convergence 2 parter is 3.99 Correct - except for the main Convergence title where parts 1 & 8 are solicited at $4.99.

Convergence: Superman #1 was amazing. As soon as I put that down I wanted to find more books with art by Lee Weeks. He hasn't done a lot. He needs to do more. Also the inclusion of Thomas Wayne Batman from Flashpoint is leading to what might be a very exciting moment in DC history. As much as I loved it, only thing I kind of didn't enjoy was a very on the nose moment when Lois says "Here's my Superman". I mean I could be reading into it too much, but considering this is the first we've seen on "underpants-Superman" in a long time, I'd assume it was on purpose. Took me out of the book a bit.

As I feared, I have only bought one book at that is convergence #1. i really do not want to commit to this, rather look at trades maybe or when DC put them on sale in the app

Convergence 0 and 1 interest me but I just don't understand the point of at least the first week's books. Interesting premise overly executed in my mind.

I guess I didn't realize that most of the titles were a battle I don't care about.. I'm severely underwhelemed by Nightwing/Oracle and The Question. The only one that was decent of what I read was Teen Titans. Also didn't realize we would just be expected to know which world each city is from.
