A couple people have expressed interest in wanting to discuss the mini interviews that have been going up on Friday's with people like Chris Burnham, Dafna Pleban, Phil LaMarr etc.
Feel free to comment on all of those here and let me know what you think of them, who you'd like me to talk to next and more. Remember that they don't need to be writers or artists... anyone "geek" is fair game.

Just a quick note to say that I've really enjoyed the one-on-one interviews you've done. My favorite was with Bill Willingham. I can't say I'm a Fables fan...but only because I haven't read the series. I actually have issues #1-149(bought 1-80 off ebay a year or so ago and have collected the rest since then) and once it hits #150 and ends I'll begin reading them(and I can't wait!). So not having read Fables it was really interesting to learn more about the creator before reading their works. I was bummed last year that he was one of the guests at GenCon and I didn't realize it. I would have brought an issue to have him sign. I thought I read/heard he was going to attend GenCon this year, do you know if that is accurate and if so in what capacity(ie. a guest, or just a fan)?
Keep doing those interviews, they are a super nice change of pace.
- Beau
ps: I really struggled with the last one though in hearing it. Your voice came across very softly. Normally I listen to them straight on my iphone while driving in the car without any extra amplification, but this last one was really tough to hear.

It would be amazing to hear an interview with them.

I agree with Jordie, inkers and colonists are the forgotten heroes of comics (see my rant about Wytches colors on another thread). Would love to hear the thought processes on what colors where and she seems to have such diversity in what she can do.....& Ya'll are Twitter buds lol

I would definitely be interested in hearing an interview with Mana Neyestani, the guy behind An Iranian Metamorphosis, after reading The Comics Journal's interview with him a little while ago. But I imagine that could be very hard to wrangle even via Skype, since Neyestani is based in Paris I think. Ivan Brandon, the writer of Drifter, is also another person I'd be interested in hearing from, since that's a new sci fi series that I like a lot from what I've read so far, with amazing art by Nic Klein. I'd imagine that interview would be much more possible though, since Ivan Brandon is based in New York City (Brooklyn I think). That spread in the first issue of Drifter, where the protagonist first sees the backwater sci-fi western town is an amazing piece of art, that I'd love to get a poster of.
In terms of geek people to interview outside of comics, Chris Cox, Martin Thomas or Brian Salisbury from One of Us are some people I'd be really interested to see you talk to. They're long-time movie critics and big comic fans, and have since 2007 been part of websites centred around geek culture. They've also for as long as they've been podcasting been hugely interactive with their fans, much like Talking Comics. In fact, when they were part of Spill.com, they did their own small 'con', Spill Dot Con, for a few years, which fans (who were pretty much strangers to them outside of the internet) from around the world came to. So, an interview with those guys would be interesting, as they'd have lots of experiences in the world of geek culture to talk about, as well as experiences around running a geek website to talk about. Plus, Chris Cox is a big cat fan, too.
On that note, another person who would be interesting to talk to would be Korey Coleman (creator of Spill.com), but his website is more specifically film-based, and One of Us is general geekery, so I think One of Us would probably be more what you meant. Korey Coleman is someone who is very open to talking about his website and everything though, so I think in terms of people being available for an interview, he would be very enthusiastic in making time for one. Actually, on that thought! I just remembered, one person who co-hosts Korey Coleman's podcasts with him, Tommy McGrew (may have spelt his surname wrong), is actually currently working on creating a comic book, I believe. Come to think of it, Korey Coleman's main co-host in his podcasts, Martin Thomas, has experience doing art for comics, actually. I think, although I'm not entirely sure who he worked for in comics, that Martin Thomas actually worked for Marvel at one point.
Anyway, as Bpp said in a post I saw on here, I enjoy the rapport you have with the people you interview, and the conversational nature of the interviews.

We'll both be at GenCon this year, although I don't think that they've made a formal announcement yet. He'll be a guest at the Writer's Symposium. Additionally to everyone else, I do have a couple of colourists lined up to talk to and I would LOVE to talk to Francesco Francavilla at some point, he's amazing. I'm going to see if maybe we can chat at ECCC or something like that.

I would love to! It's all a matter of whether I can get a hold of them or not to ask for an interview though

I don't know if anyone read Image Comics Glory series by Joe Keatinge and Ross Campbell, but either of those creators would be great as that series was not your usual comic portrayal of women.
Additionally Ross is in the process of transitioning as a transgender and is now going by Sophie on Twitter and it would be great to get her perspective. Her art is gorgeous and since she said she won't be doing cons for a while it would be great to get her on especially if anyone else on the site is a fan.
It would also be cool to get a Comixtri e guy like Joe Mulvey or Tyler James.

I couldn't believe you had Phil Lamar on, I love that guy. I knew he did lots of stuff, but I didn't know he did THAT much, impressive. Love these shows. If you did them more often, I wouldn't be mad about it.

I'll definitely try to keep that in mind. I knew Sophie as Ross and spent some time hanging out with him when he was in Toronto for TCAF a couple years ago. A really nice person and I will definitely keep this in mind. I'm very excited about what she's going to do with Jem.

I have a couple of ideas up my sleeve and people I'd like to talk to. It's just a matter of figuring out when we can chat. I want to talk to some more voice actors for sure.
