LinkageThey're doing the same number jump thing they did with F4 and will end with Uncanny X-Men #600. Bendis will write and Stuart Immonen, Mahmud Asrar, Chris Bachalo and Kris Anka will draw part of the 100-some page story. It'll be a 'clean break' so-to-speak before Secret Wars. 90 issues of X-Men will have been done by Bendis and crew. Nice little run. It's supposed to tie a lot of stuff with Beast up, the originals, Eva and the new kids, etc.

I'm not saying Bendis is awesome, but he's had hsd his moments, I actually enjoyed the Battle of the Atom and The Trial of Jean Gray. I feel like a lot of writers at Marvel, including Bendis, kinda suffer from the same issue of being kids with all these toys and Marvel being the parent saying "You can do whatever you want while you're plainng, but make sure you put everything back the way you found it".
Either way it will be fun to see what somebody else does with the toys.

*bump* Bendis is really weaving a tale here...the mess with Professor X and Mystique and the new mutant is out of this world
