Hope everyone's well and looking forward to xmas [drinks!]

I've heard they are mostly about TV shows than comics.

I've got a pretty big list of favourite comics at the moment. East of West, Ms Marvel, She-Hulk, Annihilator, Twilight Zone, Low, The Bunker and The Woods are particular highlights for me. What's everyone else's current favs?

I'm from around London, but not in the city, but more the outskirts.
In terms of comics I'm currently reading, I was in the middle of vol. 1 of God Hates Astronauts, but suddenly stopped reading it for not particular reason. I do that a lot actually. I was also reading Game of Thrones, but haven't read that in a couple weeks now for the same reason, but Game of Thrones is always being spoiled on the internet anyway. The last comic I read was Drifter #1, which was excellent, I thought. Quite a kickass space-western. But I also have a huge backlog of comics to read, including The Incal, Aama vol.1, Ant Colony, Southern Bastards vol.1, Fatale vol.4, V For Vendetta, a couple volumes of Scalped, Palestine, Wonton Soup, Orc Stain, Ricky Rouse Has a Gun, and more. Yeah, I think I may have a bit of a problem about buying things and not reading them, and continuing to buy new things anyway, lol. Although, I have made some regular progress in reading a couple of non-fiction books lately; Dancing in the Glory of Monsters by Jason K. Stearns and The Decline and Fall of the British Empire by Piers Brendon.
I'm also planning on reading Wynter #1 at some point too.

Not a Londoner but a Midlander! Lincolnshire to be exact. Although occasionally travel down South to visit uni friends/attend Eurogamer Expo. Only really recently got back in to reading comics - one of the main reasons I just purchased a tablet! With the mahoooosive library available online it's difficult for someone like me to know where to start really, so I've just been buying collections, story arcs and one shots. Been reading Age of Ultron, Civil War, Deadpool Kills Deadpool, Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe, Deadpool vs Carnage, GOTG (2008-2012), Night of the Living Deadpool and Secret War. Currently reading the Avengers vs. X-Men collected edition.

Hey guys,
Boogieman, Southern Bastards is brilliant and I totally recommend it. Toby, do you have Marvel Unlimited? I just got it and love it almost more than life itself.

Hey guys, Toby, do you have Marvel Unlimited? I just got it and love it almost more than life itself. I haven't actually got an Unlimited subscription! When I first signed up for a Marvel account I wasn't sure how much I would be reading...but now getting Unlimited seems like a really smart idea for sure Out of interest, have you (or anybody else here) read Captain Britain? I didn't know he existed until I saw him in Avengers vs. X-Men. As a Brit I feel it is my duty to read any of his comics sometime soon!

I haven't read any Captain Britain but the British Spider Man in Spider Verse made me cringe a little, so I'm not sure how I could handle Captain Britain!
Unlimited is the bomb. I only have the monthly one for now, and I am reading SO MUCH! It is worth it and then some!

Haha yeah I imagine it would be pretty cringeworthy but the temptation and curiosity is too great! I'll get around to it at some point and let you know how it is.

Just reading through Volume 1 of Captain Britain and MI:13. It's pretty good so far! Kinda cheesy in places but enjoyable for the most part. It has introduced me to a few more British superheroes too including a heroine - Spitfire! She seems awesome so far.
It has also informed me that there is/was a Captain Midlands, which as a Midlander, I think is fantastic.
