Hello Everyone, I'm new here, and would love to get a discussion going on one of my favorite topics! Who is your favorite Robin? No real rules here, just who is your favorite, and why. Continuity doesn't matter, just what makes your boy wonder...well your boy wonder!
My favorite Robin is Tim Drake, because he's a natural detective, and had to try harder than the previous two Robins. I especially like the fact that he uses his mind and detective skills over his physicality. One of the lines that solidified this, was in a wonderful scene in Hush, where Batman was remarking on Tim's Detective Skills, and in his voice-over, he states "Someday he will be the world's greatest detective.

I got such a kick out of the dynamic switch when dick was batman and Damian was robin. So I'll go with Damian.

Either Dick or Damian. But only Damian when he's paired up with DickBats something about their chemistry was really interesting to me, the happy Batman and the sullen Robin was awesome. Other times he seems like a bit of a brat.

Damian Wayne has to be my favorite. Love the way that nasty little bastard became so likable and badass. I especially love his time with Dick Grayson Batman in the Grant Morrison stuff, but I also love the Tomasi New 52 entries. Until Damian it was Tim Drake because of that detective nature and that he was smart enough to figure out who Batman was. His tragedy in Identity Crisis is one of the most effecting I've ever read.

I like Dick Grayson better as Nightwing than I do as Robin. Jason Todd just isn't a very interesting character to me personally. However I do love the back story for Damian in the pre New 52 world, but Tim Drake is definitely my favorite Robin. Tim is a brilliant detective and has a great history of character development.

Definitely Damian. Not just because he's a total badass, but of all the Robins i have read the most of Damian. Hope he comes back soon. |

Even though Dick Grayson is one of my favorite DC characters period, Tim Drake is my favorite Robin. Like everyone else mentioned, he's an awesome detective, and I liked the dynamic he had/has not only with Bruce, but with Dick as Nightwing as well.

I never read much with Dick as Robin, but I've read most of Jason's tenure, all of Drake, and I'm pretty sure all of Damian's run.
I'm with captainsaxon on Tim Drake. I just reread "Hush" the other day, and that line really stuck out. When he was called "Detective" by al Ghul in the Red Robin series, I almost shed a tear.. *sniff*"My boy is growing up."*sniff*
I grew up with Drake as Robin, and read all of his mini-series and the entirety of his solo Robin series. What he went through in Identity Crisis, ah man broke my heart.
Damian was just too much a little shit head. I feel sorry that his Mom screwed him up pretty bad, but I just couldn't get to like him. He kept killing after being Robin, and Bruce was just "herp, let's no do that again." His sacrifice and death is the only thing that really redeemed him in my eyes.
I did prefer the Damian/Dick team vs Damian/Bruce. I think there was a lot more he could've learned from Dick in the long run.

Stephanie Brown has always been a favorite of mine, though probably more for her Batgirl tenure. In terms of traditional Boy Wonder's though I'd say Dick. He just has that something special for me.

I started reading the Robin solo title when Stephanie took over the role so I really liked her short run, but Damian stole the spot as my favourite after a while (and despite assuming I'd hate him when he first appeared). And Steph (as Batgirl) and Damian had a brilliant antagonistic chemistry. |

Dick or Tim.
I haven't read anything yet when Dick was batman and Damian was robin, but i did like it in the black mirror when Dick and Tim teamed up.
