Woah. I didn't know that book existed. Maybe I'll look for it soon. I kind of hope it's similar (but not exact) to Fatale, because I'm going to really miss that book. I love everything about it, especially the art style.

We are now into the final arc! Just finished Issue #20 and I have no idea how this series is going to end. SPOILER--> There was a big revelation in this issue about what happened to Nicholas Lash's father that could have a big impact on what happens between Nick and Jo, in addition to the usual creepy/cult/pulp deliciousness.
I'm sorry that the series is ending, but I'm pretty excited to see how it wraps up.

We are so close to the end! Just finished Issue 22 and really enjoyed learning more about The Bishop and his backstory. Ed Brubaker does a great job giving you enough information to tie loose ends together but still leaves a lot for interpretation. I'm going to have a big Lovecraft/pulp/noir/fem fatale hole in my heart when this series is finished.

Helloooo? Did anyone read the big finale? I won't spoil too much, but I loved every panel and think that the team did an excellent job with sticking a very Lovecraftian landing. Plus the preview for The Fade Out has me very excited. And I think the sale's already over on Comixology, but I hope some of you picked up the series digitally this weekend since they had the whole run on sale for $24.99. Anyone else read the finale?

yeah, I dug it. It seemed appropriately poetic and whatnot. I feel like the penultimate issue was maybe more intense and emotionally climactic than the finale, but either way, I love, love, loved this series. Can't wait 'till the last trade comes out so's I can see them all lined up on the bookshelf all nice and neat
