While I know this is not a "genre" show, I think we would be remiss if it was not at least brought up as one of the best shows on TV and its spawned a comic book that was only supposed to be a 8 issue mini, but sold enough to further it. Drama, violence, reality, humor (have you seen Walton Goggins transgender persona?). I loved the Shield when it was on, but this show even surpasses it. Who's gonna survive until the end? Will Gemma get her come uppance? Will Jax finally "get it"? Will Bobby be able to go back to his "Elvis impersonator career? Lol

The wife & I have been working our way through SOA on Netflix's for the past couple months & we are almost to the end (unfortunately), on Season 7 now with only a few more eps left to go. I agree with your take, it has all the bases covered that a drama show should have. Gotta luv (or hate) Gemma, Shakespeare couldn't have written a better character. I have had a hit & (mostly) miss history with licensed property comics, but I can see in my near future having serious SOA withdrawals, so are the SOA comic books worth getting??
