March 18 is perfect timing to pick up my spirits after drudging through a few months of Maine winter. Watching Season 2 of Daredevil will keep my spirits up long enough to get me to the sweet, sweet Spring time! Can't wait to see how the Punisher plays out in this, should be BRUTAL going by DD Season 1 standards. Jessica Jones & DD Season were outstanding, Netflix's keeping it high quality with the Marvel shows, gets me really jacked up for Luke Cage to roll back on the scene later on in 2016. Great stuff.
Ok I finished it this weekend and I've got to say it was definitely a step down from both the first season and JJ. It seemed like they tried to include too many stories and I never felt like we got enough of any of them. Some really great stuff (particularly the punisher) but overall it came off as muddled and a little schizophrenic.
In a rich man's house there is no place to spit but in his face.

I'm six episodes in right now, and while i think its still good and while i've enjoyed every episode so far it hasn't really hooked me yet, whereas i completely loved the first season after watching only two episodes.
But i do think Punisher and Elektra are two great additions this season, so far they are very spot on, especially the Punisher, who is amazing!

I thought overall this was a very good season, though i like the first season more, but not a lot more.
Last years season became a bit less interesting at the end for me, whereas this season i felt the complete opposite, the first half was good but i couldn't really get into it, but in the seventh or eight episode there came a point were i completely loved it again. There was a lot going on this season, not everything worked, but the stuff that did was incredible, like the Punisher for instance.
Loved it. Another home run from Disney/Marvel/Netflix, as far as I'm concerned; 3-for-3. Cannot wait for Luke Cage in September, and Iron Fist, and Jess Jones S2, and DD S3, and Defenders some time after that. What a wonderful format.
I thought the second season was solid but not as good as the first season. I found this season tended to drag quite heavily in places and relied upon some tired cliches. I also found like some of the "resolutions" really didn't have enough emotionally impact.

just finished it this morning. Liked it a lot, but not as much as season 1 (I REALLY liked season 1). Wilson Fisk was such a great villain in that season, while this one seemed kind of all over the place (w/o spoilers, something like 4 "villains" for 4 different storylines?). There were couple glimmers of awesomeness from the Punisher, but they were few and far between and he was kind of reduced to a semi-mindless thug for most of the story. I would have loved to see a punisher mini series or something where he gets room to shine. Elektra was kind of "meh" for me, devolving into a mere trope by the end. I'm not familiar with the original character, so maybe all that is accurate, but I thought it was kind of played out. I really wanted to see the guys in the courtroom this time around, and you get a little of that, but not much. I also think they may have tried to weave too many story threads together at the expense of missing several beats in the threads they told. Maybe if this was all about the punisher (it kind of was) or all about elektra (also it kind of was) there could have been more depth.
