Boy, issue #'s 7 & 8 are real stinkers. Is it just me, or does it feel like Marvel really is starting to let this title go? Milonogiannis' art is abysmal - it looks like stuff I was drawing in Elementary school. Yikes. It's sad to see Miles Morales cared for so poorly.

I absoutely love Miles so I had this and Ultimate Spidey on my pull list, but this had little to no Miles in it from issue 1 and was just going knowhere. It seems like the only way the Ultimate universe is going to work is if Bendis is writing all of it. Oh well. As long as Miles sticks around I'm happy.

I thought at the time and have not changed my mind having read through to current that dropping the initial run of characters and going with a group of lesser tier was not going to work out well.

They can make this new line-up work with good writing and decent art. I enjoyed these characters (and team) when Brian Michael Bendis used them in his book. Even the coloring choices in All-New Ultimates are strange, especially in the last issue where Spider-Man's head is a different color than the rest of his costume.

I still buy every Ultimate title out of principle - the UU was what got me into comics - but I agree. What really kills me is that Fiffe and Fialkov seemed to have so much promise to what they could bring to the UU, but let's face it, they were hamstrung with the terrible support they had in the art department.
Worried about those rumors that the UU is winding down, but Ultimates has got to be on the chopping block with the sales it gets, and it seems weird to imagine MM:USM as the only Ultimate book... Miles/his story are GREAT and I don't think it's an exaggeration to say it would sell twice as well if it was a 616 book.

He really took me by surprise - I didn't think I could like him as much as Petey, but I do. My hope was that the All-New Ultimates would be a Miles-centric book (wrong). What's killing me right now is the art. I can forgive anyone's mediocre writing as long as the art is good/enthralling. I really do hate being a "hater", because I love the medium so much. But right now this book has me scratching my head. If there were some way for Miles & Ganke to traverse over to the 616, that would be: amazing & spectacular.

I loved the characters, the story, the message and giving a big book to these characters I thought would be amazing.
The art just really wasn't for me. I made it through #7. I opened that book and just decided I was done with it.
