So far I am caught up on New Lone Wolf and Cub, Food Wars and Bride's Story.
Tokyo Ghoul is not sitting well for long term reading.
Terra Formars is really intense.
Attack on Titan still only halfway way through but even with where the first season of the anime left off.
Akumetsu...not sure about that one either.
Started Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service to get caught up by the time Dark Horse resumes translated publication.

I just started reading the yuyu hakushao (forgive the spelling ). I have such fond memories of the anime, so I decided to give it a shirt. It got me really emotional at some points. While making me laugh out loud. I am currently on volume 3.

Coolness. There are so many cool manga out there. I wish they covered more on the show. Superhero comics are so 1930's.

Well this may be slightly outside of the realm of the sort of manga you guys are discussing, but I just ordered the Nausicaa of the Valley of The Wind complete boxed set, delivery tbd (soon, hopefully). I've long adored and worshiped at the altar of Miyazaki's films, very much including the brilliant film version of Nausicaa, and I can't wait to dive on into the complete story in manga form. Way excited.
My curiosity's also been peaked by the reprint of Satoshi Kon's OPUS (another of my favorite filmmakers, long may he be remembered), but i've yet to hear anyone talk about it or give it much of a review. Anyone around here read OPUS before?
Other than that, manga-wise, I still don't own a copy of Beck Mongolian Chop Squad, but one day . . one day. It may be sharp, aged cheddar, but it's exactly the sort that I have all of the softest soft spots for. Loved the show, but the manga's even better. And i've been told to read Lone Wolf & Cub many times; that's another that's definitely in my long-term queue

I would highly recommend anything by Koike/Kojima. There are several longish series that would keep you busy for a bit with just them.

I dug the movie for Nausicaa as well. the art reminded me of the old Heavy Metal and Ralph Bakshi's Wizards. yeah I agree, it's extremely similar to Wizards, but, ya know, more Japanese, and prettier, and not as 70's But the two are definitely inextricably linked in my mind
