Picked up this new series because my friend at the Silver Snail wanted me to review it. I'm glad I did because this new series is going to be a hit. Anybody else pick this up on a whim? What did you guys think about this new Image title?

Totally picked this one up at random (liked the cover art) and I agree that it's gonna be a hit. Love that it completely downplays the science fiction elements and goes straight for the old west feel. Just had that typical (in a good way) western type of set-up to the story, new sheriff in town, the untrustworthy partner, local crook boss, and that last page to hook you in. Just good stuff.

I really enjoyed the first issue and intend to stay with this series.

read it last night, and it didn't disappoint in the slightest. Very cool book, so far. Can't wait 'till the next chapter.
Also, I wonder if i'm the only one that's hearing the voice of Jet from Cowboy Bebop whenever Boo speaks. I don't know why, exactly; there are thousands of voices I could hear for him, i'm sure, but I immediately thought "Jet".

I'm really hoping they make Boo more of a comic relief character, he was my favorite part of the whole thing.

Like many of you I picked this up on a whim and without knowing much about what to expect but so glad I did. This will probably end up being the title I read first from the pile and can't wait to see where they take this.

This thing was terrific. The last shot was chilling once I realized who it was and what he was holding (and wearing).

Just read the first issue(thanks to this forum, and the latest TC podcast)and i really liked it! Deadwood in space is definitely the right description for this book in my opinion.
This is definitely gonna be on my pull list from now on.

SO, SO good! Had all the makings of a great new series. I disagree that the sci-fi elements were played down. I think it has some very strong elements of that genre in it, with the alien design being the best past. Bring on issue 2!

I really like this book. I'm kind of a sucker for a space western (thanks, Joss) and three issues in this appears to be some high quality stuff. The artifical human storyline has me very intrigued. Definitely going to continue with Copperhead

I am so hocked on this book right now. Bought it right out of the blue, didn't know what it was about. This is so good. Alienstuff, Detectivestuff, westernstuff and a beautiful artwork. Where East of West was to confusing, this is an easy read. This is a real breathing scifi world and I hope it will last very long and people are picking it up!

Issue four was a real quickening in the story which was the strongest issue by far. The War flashbacks, the conversation of the factory boss, the twists in the main plot, the cliffhanger. I found issues 1-3 a tad decompressed and the mother / son dynamic is one that largely disinterests me but this issue was excellent.
