Any of you fine people fans of Mark Waid's 'Irredeemable'?
I'm about to start on the second volume. I found the first volume to be a real page turner and love the concept.
There were a couple of really relatable moments in terms of the Plutonian's motivation, mainly being his focus on the minor negative crowd despite universal praise and the awkward and dark 'Secret Identity Reveal' section.

I read the entire run. I thought it was enjoyable. It's has its odd moments where it lost me a bit, but at the end I was glad I had read it.

It's excellent in my opinion. Incorruptible is well worth reading alongside too. I found a nice cache at my local Half-Priced Books if you are looking to hunt down potential future trades.

Thanks, man. I'm in the UK so there may be a problem there. Most Irredeemable trades are about £7-£10 so it isn't too bad.
Gonna splash for Vol 3 this month.

Just an update but burnt through Volume 3... the scene with his foster family was heartbreaking. Love the Modeus surprise too. Loving this run. Hope it doesn't lose steam.

I really enjoyed the first 20+ issues then it kind of lost me a little in the story line. Fell behind on it but plan to catch back up and read the entire run from the beginning to the end.
