What are everyone's thoughts on the costume and creative team?

I'm excited about it! As you can tell if you look at my posts in the pull list thread every week, I am decidedly *not* a D.C. reader, but this redesign really pulled me in as soon as I saw it. I love the playful, fresh appearance of Batgirl in this image - she just looks like someone whose stories I would enjoy reading. I also like the creative team's plan to have these be more self-contained stories. As I'm not currently a D.C. reader, that certainly makes it less intimidating to jump onto the title knowing that I won't immediately have to wade in to a ton of continuity and ongoing storylines in other titles.

Even though i'm not a Batgirl reader i will definitely check this out. I'm usually a fan of taking something that's been the same for a long time and completely changing it, so if done right it will be on my pull list for a long time.

It's probably an overall Good move for DC, and it looks fine, but I'm really, really enjoying the tone, art, and storytelling of the current run. I'll give the redesign a try, but it doesn't look like something I'm very excited for. I'm hoping it is good though, and draws in new readers.

I hope this end up being a title I can let my 11 year old daughter read. The costume looks great!

I like the cover design way better than the interior art. Also, is it just me or is Barbara going hipster? lol

I didn't read the preview, wanna wait for the actual release...BUT, I did browse through a few panels to get familiar with the art, and I love it so far. Will still reserve judgement for the full book.
