Ha ha well said it was a pretty dark story. The current story "Deadpool vs SHIELD" and The Guantlet Infinity comic are both incredible as well

Yeah i just read the first Infinity comic. I thought it was awesome. I like it much better than the guided narrative view. It flows so well.

I dislike zombies so much it's making me very hard to enjoy night of the living deadpool. I'm trying to power through it because I've loved Cullen Bunn's other deadpool stuff. At least gauntlet is good so far, and the regular ongoing is great!

drocat, if you look on the site, i've done several reviews for issues of the current Deadpool run, and i can say that it's pretty good. my favorite Deadpool stuff right now, however, is the Deadpool Kills series, written by Cullen Bunn. "Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe" is first, is 4 issues long, and is only about a year old. After that came "Deadpool Killustrated" and then the phenomenal "Deadpool Kills Deadpool." I also have a friend who is a Deadpool superfan who loves the Cable and Deadpool stuff from the 90s, but i haven't had a chance to read much of that yet. Thanks, man. I saw the trade of Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe at the shop. Maybe I'll pick that up next time I'm in. The page I saw on Tumblr was an interaction between him and Spidey. It made me actually laugh out loud for a second. Is this from Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe? Heyo, Apologies if someone already answered this question, but I looked through the thread and didn't see(unless I just plain old missed it of course). The panel on top is from Deadpool #19, April 2010. That Deadpool series started in 2008. I really enjoyed it as it had some pretty cool arcs starting with the Secret Invasion one. It's also pretty funny and brings in quite a few other Marvel characters for Deadpool to play off of, as the above picture indicates. There's also some issues with the X-men and Bob Agent of Hydra. I ended up stopping at issue #21, though for the life of me I can't remember why as I know I was enjoying it until that point, and really 21 seems like an odd number to stop at, I usually try to end an issue on a multiple of 5. Anyway, hope this helps. - Beau

Joe Kelly's run on Deadpool during the late 90's is a great place to start. In my mind that's the definitive Deadpool. Daniel Way's stuff was really good also. The one issue that bothered a lot of people with Way's work was how deadpool had two separate voices in his head, as well as his own inner monologue, the three voices are constantly talking to each other. Some people thought it was annoying. I actually liked it

The latest issue was a pretty fun issue, I love all of the references in it, from aliens to the watchmen. I kind of hope dead pool gets to keep his friend in his brain.

In a sense I do too, but if she becomes like a Hydra Bob esque sidekick for Deadpool, that wouldn't be terrible either. That or Ben Franklin could become the new voice in his head.

Nice! on the 02/24/2014 word balloon podcast he has Peter David on, who is saying he's going to be writing an upcoming deadpool book. Oddly enough he says it is going to be based on Sun Tzu's the Art of War, however he kills Sun Tzu pretty quick.
