It's that time again!
This week I have a tie between Saga #20 and Outcast #1.

Really hard to choose - would have to be a tie between Saga #20 and Ms. Marvel #5. I'm still enjoying Avengers Undercover as well.

It's a tie between Saga and Ms. Marvel for me as well. Both are consistently emotionally endearing and visually stunning in their own ways. I just can't choose between them!

It's Saga, because: Saga. Right behind it is Dream Police, which continues to be excellent.
Mercenary Sea, sadly, takes Bottom of The Stack. Again. If it weren't for the sticker in the second issue, and my completionist nature, i'd have dropped it long ago; instead i'll finish out the arc next month and be relieved to be rid of it (and probably then try and sell the lot for whatever I can get for it, which makes me sad). I like the art, but I can't bring myself to care about the characters in the slightest, and the ONE thing I needed it NOT to do, make the story revolve around WWII, it can't seem to stay away from. The lost island and mysterious treasure story seems to be a tease, or a MacGuffin, and I just can't justify hanging around, waiting for it to get interesting. Trite, bland, same-face characters with hokey accents . . t'is a shame.

My favourite book this week was Flash Gordon no.3. There was a massive gladiator style scrap between Flash and a load of beast-headed dudes! Some awesome snappy dialogue just left me grinning.
