I've tried doing digital and I just cant do it, I need the physical copy in my hands!! I need to be able to look at the art on the page and hold it, as well as if its a beautiful cover I love possibly frame and put up. Maybe its the collector in me but I just cant bring myself to go digital at all, plus I enjoy going into the comic shop too much.
Also the digital thing goes with Steam also, Steam sales are insanely amazing and I usually buy the top end games on there when they're 4.99 but what worries me is if Steam and Comixology go under then there goes everything I purchased from them...

That is the only digital I get are the ones that come free with the physical comics I purchase. If it ever goes away I am covered If I have the light and book on hand I read it physical If I don't have light or it on hand and I am waiting on a drive thru then I can read a little more there. The amount that I can read now is tripled because of this

I took part in that whole Comixology 700 free Marvel titles thing and so I have a ton of books saved up on my iPhone. I usually also use the DL code whenever I buy a trade, just so I can keep it with me. That said, if I can get it physically, I will always get it physically. I AM enjoying the Infinite stuff though like Deadpool: The Gauntlet. Especially since its canon to the main series.

I'm almost 100% digital and even invested in a dedicated tablet with a decent size screen / spec - I have zero patience and when I read something that reminds me of something else I've read I love being able to search through my collection and open it immediately.
2 years ago that involved getting a ladder, opening the loft and sifting through long boxes till I found what I was looking for. I do still have the physical but I've tended to keep those books which had a big physical / emotional impact on me, I tend to find that probably 80% of what I read won't end up getting re-read and again that suits me digitally. I do however when books do have a big impact on me end up buying the physical copies.
I am fortunate that comics is my only little sin so I have always put aside X amount £ for books monthly and don't get myself wound up if some of that goes on terrible books, I just drop them and see if anything else takes my fancy.

Ah yeah... to answer the original question, no... no guilt at all - I embrace all future and present technology, resistance is futile...all will be assimilated [mixing me'ref'erancies there!]
