Has anyone else checked out this OGN by Marvel? It was released this week in a HC. If your a fan of the current X-men (All-New, Uncanny, Wolverine and) then I would highly recommend checking this book out. The book is placed in current continuity, it ties together some elements from Battle of the Atom, and overall has a great story that utilizes all the X-Teams.

I read this, but I didn't really feel the gravity of the story. It just felt like I didn't see the outcome as humans disappearing as much as I thought I would.

I'm really torn on the graphic novel. The story seemed like it needed a little more time to give some weight to the situation as things wrap up pretty quick but there is a lot of great character beats and the Carey really has a handle on the relationships between characters -- so much so that it is worth the buy itself. Also, the colorist does an amazing job with Larocca's work. I would recommend reading if you're a fan of x-men and want a fun little side adventure. it's pretty good.

It was "good" no it wasn't good loves man kills but I enjoyed it. I like having Mike Carey back in the x-men fold.
